 Exciting News at the Finish Line Festival
There are many reasons why Cycle the WAVE shines above the rest during the crowded Pacific NW bike event schedule each year - we pride ourselves in offering a truly unique and deluxe ride experience for all riders. The "wow" factor experience only gets better once you arrive at the Bellevue College Finish Line Festival. The finish line area has been reconfigured at the north end of campus, where you can relax on a grassy knoll or a tree-lined courtyard. Did you know that we feature complimentary massage at the Spa Stop? Offering first come, first served 15-minute post-ride rubdowns from 11:30-3:30. In addition to the Spa Stop, Therapeutic Associates will also be on hand to offer post ride wellness help and advice on any pains or issues you may have at their booth.
 We are happy to welcome back a terrific supporter for this year - DBelt with their new DBelt Pro. Volunteers Wanted for Ride Day!
Our volunteers are awesome...They help us put on a great party for all our riders. On ride day, we utilize people in over 300 volunteer positions. We have a job for most everyone, especially your non-riding friends and ALL the guys in the family! We are looking for course monitors and rest stop help - great positions for family and friends. We have a fabulous new volunteer sign up page - please visit today and register for a position. If there is not a position listed that tickles your fancy yet, please register as a regular volunteer and we will get back to you (or you can check back for openings). New positions are listed every few days. On the new site you can manage your volunteer shifts easily - including changing or modifying your shifts. It's a great new tool to help us provide the best customer service yet to our wonderful riders.

It's First Thursday Art Walk in Pioneer Square, and we can't think of a better way to send off this amazing summer than with a fun evening social! Join the gathering hosted by your friends at the Nord Building: The WAVE Foundation, Washington Bikes, Back Alley Bike Repair, and Feet First.
We'll have reps on hand from Cycle the WAVE, Washington Bikes, She Bikes Cascade and Seattle Cycle Sirens. There will be a free onsite drawing for cool door prizes at 6:30pm and 7:30pm. Find out about Feet First's super cool WALKTOBER event that celebrates walking to school, walking to work, and walking for fun throughout October. Be sure to visit both floors on the building, and Back Alley Bike Repair via the cool Nord Alley.
There will also be on-site specials from Nuu-Muu (fun & flattering exercise dresses) and Po Campo (functional & stylish bags) and registration discounts on the upcoming CtW event. Libations at the bar include beer from our great pals at Peddler Brewing...and yes, it's ok to bring the guys along ladies! |
 Coming To A Trail Near You
Thanks to the great work of our ambassadors, we have about fifty of these colorful trail signs placed all over the region today. If you see one falling over on your training ride, please fix it upright again! Help us keep the CtW colors flying high at all times folks. CtW ambassadors have distributed over 10,000 post cards, 5000 business cards, 1500 posters and 50 trail signs so far this year. Be sure to look for the pink ride number bibs on the ride and thank them for their amazing work!
