Friends, Wine & a Good Cause
The WAVE Foundation's 2nd annual Raise Your Glass and Raise Some Funds wine tasting event was held on May 15th at Blakely Hall in the Issaquah Highlands. The evening raised nearly $10,000 to support its mission to end domestic violence.

Students for Cycle the WAVE
T-shirt Logo Contest Winner
Congratulations to Anna Woldstad of Liberty High School! Her winning logo design will enhance the student volunteer t-shirts for Cycle the WAVE 2014. It was a tough choice for the CtW Executive Team decided by a blind vote of the many entries. Community Participation The Students for CtW Club will be hosting the "Bra Pong" game to keep things lively into the wee hours of the morning at Relay for Life of Issaquah. One dollar buys three throws! Try to hit a "cup" for a prize. All proceeds go to American Cancer Society. This event takes place at Issaquah High School on May 31st.

National Women's Ride Day
Gerk's Ski & Cycle of Issaquah is offering a Women's Ride on Saturday, May 31st for women of all levels. Ride will be around Lake Sammamish departing at 9 a.m.

Fun and Fundraising...
Another Spin class has been scheduled to promote Cycle the WAVE and raising awareness for domestic violence programs. Team Chai and Beautiful Bike in Fremont have partnered to promote and raise funds for Cycle the WAVE through a one-hour spin class. Attend class on June 7th with Team Chai here. All cycling levels welcome.
All Cycle the WAVE participants have the opportunity to form a team. Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers.

Lake to Lake Bike Ride
The City of Bellevue offers this family friendly bike ride on Saturday June 14th, starting at Lake Hills Community Park. Register online here for activity #86106 or day of event at 8 a.m. Ride begins at 9 a.m. Two routes available with approximately 20% off-road (gravel). All participants will receive an event t-shirt.

TAI Seattle Cyclist Lecture Series
The third lecture in this series will be held on Thursday evening, June 19th at 7:30p.m. Therapist and presenter, Ben Kingan, will be discussing injury prevention. Also learn techniques to help keep you riding pain free. This will be held at Juanita Physical Therapy. This event is free; please RSVP 425.823.8119
