Who We Are:

 

THOMAD Engineering is a client focused structural engineering design and consulting firm established in 2003 and is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are committed to providing creative solutions and excellent services to our clients on a wide range of projects.



'Structural Moments' is a monthly e-newsletter published by the staff of THOMAD Engineering. It is intended to inform our valued clients, associates, and colleagues in the A/E/C industry and stimulate a thoughtful dialogue with them.




THOMAD Engineering has been a proud member and supporter of the Las Vegas chapter of the American Institute Architects since the firm's inception in 2003.

Greetings!

In our experience, it is usually obvious who bears the responsibility for any problem that occurs on a project. Nonetheless, too much time is often wasted in trying to fix the blame.

 

Instead of pointing fingers, those involved should immediately shift the focus on identifying the problem and work together to find a solution that will maintain progress.

This is especially important during construction in order to maintain a schedule and eliminate or minimize any added cost. Once the problem is solved, a discussion about how to prevent it from happening again should take place.

 

It is important that team leaders keep everyone involved positive, maintain a professional conduct and do not allow the blame-game to take over. Mohammed

Pizza Rock at Green Valley Ranch
Pizza Rock at Green Valley Ranch is open for business. This is the second of three new restaurants by award-winning pizza chef Tony Gemignani to open in the Las Vegas area.

THOMAD Engineering is the structural engineer of record for this location and the next one soon to be completed at Palace Station. 

We will feature both restaurants in more detail in the next issues of Structural Moments. Stay tuned!
