Volunteers Needed for Earth Day Cleanup
NEW DATE: Saturday, April 27, 10:00 a.m. to Noon
Breakheart Reservation, 177 Forest Street, Saugus
Celebrate Earth Day this year by joining the Saugus River Watershed Council, Friends of Breakheart Reservation, the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation, and others this Saturday to help clean up Breakheart Reservation and other sites in Saugus. This event is part of a statewide Park Serve Day to help get parks cleaned up for the season.
Volunteers will work on projects at Breakheart Reservation, and if there there are enough participants, small groups will work in other nearby locations within the Saugus River watershed.
Please stop in at the Saugus River Watershed Council's table in front of the Breakheart Visitor's Center to sign up for a volunteer work area and pick up gloves and bags. Sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty are recommended. Rubber boots may be helpful for some locations.
We hope to see you there! |
