Happy CSNC Customers

Hello everyone,

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday and Hanukkah, CSNC will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29th so we will postpone this month's vaccine clinic to two dates in December:

Saturday, Dec. 14th &  Friday, Dec. 20th.

Please be sure to mark your calendars!
Thanksgiving is a purr-fect time to remember how thankful we are for the love and companionship of our pets.

In addition, CSNC is thankful for...

> Our community of animal lovers, rescuers and organizations who work tirelessly towards our common goal of  ending pet overpopulation and saving lives of homeless pets!

> Individuals who choose to spay/neuter and adopt instead of shop, giving deserving animals a second chance at a loving family of their own.

> The over 14,000 animals our Clinic has been able to spay and neuter since 2009.

> For YOU, we could not do what we do without your support!

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?  Please send us your comments and photos, we would love to share!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at CSNC,

Pallas Diaz
Executive Director, CSNC

Ten Tips for a Safe Thanksgiving

1. Check tags!

Make sure your pet is wearing a collar and tag with your current contact info.

2. Update microchips!

Update your pet's microchip or contact us to get your pet microchipped.

3. Make arrangements

Leaving town without your pet? Use a good pet sitter/boarding facility. Prevent accidents, don't leave pets alone for days.

4. Talk to guests

Explain to guests to be careful or keep pets in another room while guests are coming in and out.

5. Keep moving!

Make sure your pet gets his regular exercise and playtime whether with you or a pet sitter.

6. Be prepared

Keep toys and treats at hand when hosting guests to distract pets and reward good behavior.

7. Supervise kids

Supervise interactions between pets and kids for everyone's safety.

8. Don't give in!

Remind guests not to feed table scraps to your pet.

9. Be cautious about counters

Ask a guest to keep your pet occupied in another room during cooking.

10. Don't forget to clean

After the meal, remove trash and bones immediately. Pets can cause themselves serious harm chewing on sharp bones!
