CLARITY    OF   VISION!!
DR. tONYA lEWIS MAY 2016

               "But Yet, He Came!"
!!!    (1 of 5)

Jesus offers us the gift of salvation, which is the forgiveness of our sins, as well as continuous fellowship with Him.

Jesus, who dwells in the glorious and pure presence of Heaven, knew that earth was a sin-contaminated place, "But Yet, He Came" for you and me.

satan and man

Jesus knew that Satan, His chief enemy, reigned on earth as prince of the air which meant that He would be confronted with the wickedness of his hatred, "But Yet, He Came" for you and me.

Jesus knew the physical dangers of Him coming to offer us His gift of salvation, "But Yet, He Came!"

Jesus knew that people would be resistant when approached by His Spirit through His Word, "But Yet, He Came!"

Jesus knew that some people would "claim the glory" of His provision, protection and power in their lives, instead of giving Him the glory, "But Yet, He Came!"

 "But Yet, He Came!"
(2 of 5)

Jesus knew that in spite of the undeniable evidence of Him and His Father's existence, that some people

would still try to dismiss their reality, "But Yet, He Came!" for you and me.

Jesus knew that men would be lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God and others, "But Yet, He Came!"

Bible

Jesus knew that regardless of the power locked in His Word, which He would give us access through our

faith, that some would choose not to exercise that privilege.

While some people would conclude, that it was a waste of His time "to come", "But Yet, He Came" for you and me.

Jesus knew that the very ones He came to share His love with, would cry "Crucify Him", and actually go on

to whip, torture and mock Him, "But Yet, He Came!" for you and me.

As a result of Jesus coming to earth, He specifically comes to us individually to offer us salvation and a life of true fulfillment.

Yes, regardless of the physically, emotionally and spiritually confused and out of order lives which we

have, if we invite Him to, Jesus enters our lives to change our lives.

Therefore, we are assured that in the day of trouble, disgust, anguished or joy, Jesus is with us.

He comes to bring us hope, no matter the situation.

Heart of Hope

He comes to save our lives both in this present world as well as in the world to come.

He comes to give us the testimony of Psalm 40:2He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the

miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. (NASB)

3- He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. (NLT)

Many will see what He has done and be amazed.

They will put their trust in the LORD.

Psalm 40:4-Oh, the joys of those who trust the LORD, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols. (NLT)

5- You have done many miraculous things, O LORD my God. You have made many wonderful plans

for us. No one compares to you! I will tell others about your miracles, which are more than I can count. (GWT)

Jesus loves you

Psa. 32:7-  You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. (NIV)

Jesus comes to us individually, because He deals with us individually.

He is not just the God of our parents or grandparents, etc., but He desires to be our personal God.

This is also true of the relationship He desires with our children, grandchildren, etc.

   "But Yet, He Came!"

(5 of 5)

Jesus came so that each person would have a chance to experience His glory, no matter his or her reputation, age, nationality, gender, etc.

For those of us who will honor Him as Lord of our lives, Jesus knew that His coming would not be in vain.

Jesus came to seek and save each of us who would receive Him.

You're important- your name in lights

That's just how important we are to Him and how much He loves and cherishes us.

He did not allow anything to deter His coming for you and me.

In the midst of our daily lives, let us REMEMBER Jesus' great love, and concern for us.

NEVER allow sorrow, worry, pain, of seemingly hopeless situations overtake us, because Jesus came

to save our lives from ANY AND EVERYTHING!

God bless you.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. Jesus Christ

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. Jesus Christ

But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Jesus Christ

Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day. Jesus Christ

I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Jesus Christ

And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time. Jesus Christ

For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul? Jesus Christ

So I say to you, Ask and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. Jesus Christ

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Jesus Christ

Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in this world. Jesus Christ

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. Jesus Christ

All the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, you shall not kill, you shall not steal, you shall not covet, and so on, are summed up in this single command: You must love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus Christ

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Jesus Christ

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Jesus Christ

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Jesus Christ
