Isn't it a comforting feeling to be loved?

To be heard when we speak?

To have our names among those who are of a very special and elite group of people?

To be publicly acknowledged and our association claimed by very prominent people?

To be considered a special and valued treasure?

To be extended and receive grace and mercy while some other persons reject it and not experience it.

To have a respectable distinction from those persons who choose otherwise?

Well, such is the experience of those who fear, reverence, honor and acknowledge the Lord God Almighty.

While there are individuals who try unsuccessfully to disprove the very existence of God, there are other individuals who yield their hearts and lives before the Almighty King.

These individuals choose to channel their faith in believing in Him, His Beloved Son and the Precious

Holy Spirit and cultivating a personal relationship with The Godhead.

Those persons who do so find it rewarding both here on earth which only ignites their anticipation of the glorious hereafter with them in eternity.

Many of our mothers and grandmothers have allowed and enabled us to have the delicious experience of

sampling the taste of a cake prior to it being formally served.

The scrumptious sample of that experience convinced us that-YES- it would be beneficial to make sure we

were around to partake of the cake when it was formally presented.

Such is the case with our Heavenly Father.

The sample of His glory here on earth, the assurance of His existence and magnificence gives the

undeniable motivation that we want to ensure we "qualify" to experience the fullness of His Glory.

In Malachi, we are told how to be eligible for such a glorious experience as well as given the Promises of reward for such decisions.

Malachi 3:16-Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD listened to what they said.

In His presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared Him and always thought about the Honor of His name.

17 "They will be My people," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies.

"On the day when I act in judgment, they will be My own special treasure.

I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child.

Malachi 3:18 Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not."

Chapter 4:1- The LORD of Heaven's Armies says, "The day of judgment is coming, burning like a furnace.

On that day the arrogant and the wicked will be burned up like straw. They will be consumed-roots, branches, and all.

2- "But for you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings.

And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.

Let's make sure that we are honoring the name of the Lord through our thoughts, words and behavior.

We must honor Him with our love and respect for Him and for others.

We must honor Him by submitting ourselves to His Lordship and being obedient to His Holy Word.

We must Honor Him by sharing His Gospel message of love, forgiveness, mercy and grace.

As long as we live, we must seek to honor Him!

We must seek to please Him! We must grow in our relationship with Him.

It definitely rewards us here on earth and will be our great gain in eternity of refusing now to promote self and to Honor the Name of the Lord.
