For His Glory!!!!! (1 of 5)
Suffer??? Hard times??? Lack??? Sacrifice???
DEFINITELY, not in our plans for our lives!
We feel we should be in charge and determine what will and will not happen, when and how it will happen for us.
If we are truthful, we will admit that by nature, we are selfish, self-centered people, who live with the concept that it is ALL about me, myself and I.
We feel that we deserve to enjoy the finer experiences of life and don't every need to sacrifice our feelings, time, life, desires, dreams, etc. However, when we come into the loving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we experience a nature change.
We learn that just as Jesus sacrificed His life that we must also be willing to sacrifice our lives.

For His Glory!!!! (2 of 5)
Matt. 16:24-NLT- Jesus said, "If any of you wants to be My follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow Me.
25- If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for My sake, you will save it.
We must willingly say and mean that NO, it is not about ME, MYSELF AND I but it is about the glory of God being able to shine through my life.
It is joyfully submitting to whatever is in the MASTER PLAN of Almighty God which we ARE PRIVILEGED to be a part of bringing to pass!
That means to contribute to the Glory of God's Kingdom; we must be willing to sacrifice tears, pain,
suffering and even deprivation of what others are enjoying.

Two biblical examples of this are:
John 9:1 ...a man who had been blind from birth. 2 ...His disciples asked Him, "why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents' sins?" 3 "It was not because of his sins or his parents' sins," Jesus answered. "This happened so the power of God could be seen in him. 7 ..."Go wash yourself" So the man went and washed and came back seeing! 8 His neighbors and others who knew him as a blind beggar asked each other, "Isn't this the man who used to sit and beg?"
John 11:1 A man named Lazarus was sick. 3 "Lord, your dear friend is very sick." 4... He said, "Lazarus's sickness will not end in death. No, it happened for the glory of God so that the Son of God will receive glory from this." 15 And for your sakes, I'm glad I wasn't there, for now you will really believe. 40 "Didn't I tell you that you would see God's glory if you believe?" 44 And the dead man came out, ... 45 Many of the people... believed in Jesus when they saw this happen.

Our lives are on the platform of display.
Therefore, unchosen sacrifices will be requested of us in our relationships, professions, dreams, resources, health, etc.
However, we must learn that when we seek to be used of God, our sacrificing will not be in vain.
Included in Daddy-God's Master Plan for us sacrificing "For His Glory", are dividends (benefits, bonuses,
payments and blessings) which He ensures that we will receive.
As are our experiences in school or work, we receive diplomas and paychecks after the requirements are completed.
Daddy-God will never allow us to out-give and sacrifice more than we experience in our returned
blessings both here on earth and definitely in eternity.
Matt. 19:29- NLT-And everyone who has given up ...will receive a hundred times as much in return....
30-But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.

1 Cor 2:9-..."No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him."
10...God revealed these things by His Spirit... God's deep secrets.
So, humbly yet proudly, joyfully and with great comfort, be willing to suffer YOURSELF and be used for the Glory of God.
That means, we CANNOT think or do as the world does.
It may not be that you have sinned as to why you are experiencing certain situations in your life.
Rather it is how the Lord will use your situation for the greater good of both yourself and others.
As we continue to remind ourselves that it is "For His Glory", our hearts will be comforted and it will provide peace for our souls.
REMEMBER, It is "For His Glory"!
