What's the Use of Serving God? (1 of 5)

In this day and time, that is a question, which many BOLDLY and rhetorically ask.

It is not a question seeking an answer, but a statement implying the ridiculousness of even considering such an action.

"They" say, there is no actual place of Heaven or Hell, but only in the mind of those gullible enough to believe such teachings.

"They" say there is no "Great Being" outside of their own selves; they are their own god and the one who enables them to function.

That in fact, IF THERE IS SUCH A GOD AS IS SAID, why is there so much pain and misery in the world?

"They" say that those who "don't believe such foolishness, are much MORE prosperous than persons who do believe.

However, as it has been said so many times, "just keep on living".

There is going to come a time when persons with these philosophies will find out that they were not as knowledgeable as they thought.

What's the Use of Serving God? (2 of 5)

Because the Lord God's name and reputation are being questioned, He PERSONALLY responds to such questions and views.

           Malachi 3:13 "You have said terrible things about me," says the LORD. "But you say, 'What do you mean? What have we said against you?'

              14- "You have said, 'What's the use of serving God? What have we gained by obeying His commands or by trying to show the LORD of Heaven's Armies that we are sorry for our sins?

15 From now on, we will call the arrogant blessed. For those who do evil get rich and those who dare God to punish them suffer no harm.'"

The fact is, the Lord God gives EACH PERSON OPPORTUNITIES to believe or to reject HIS HOLY BEING and WORD.

When it comes time for each of us to stand before the Throne of the Most High God, none will be able to say they did not know about Him.

It has never been the desire of our Great and Loving Heavenly Father for us to experience the pain and misery, which is in the world.

What's the Use of Serving God? (3 of 5)

Decisions not to honor Him as we should, crimes against one another and abuses against our own selves have never been the heart of God.

When God originally created everything in the world and called it good, it was so.

It was void of the pain and misery that this world now is so acquainted with for God filled it with blessings all around and for man.

But, when sin came, it distorted EVERYTHING good which DADDY-GOD intended for us.

As a result, we now suffer sickness, hatred, injustices, crimes, death, tears and ...

Also, with not believing the Word of God, it does appear that the ungodly prosper more than persons who have given their lives to the Lord God.

However, their prosperity is only temporary. Honoring and recognizing the love and faithfulness of God in our lives is how we must live our lives to experience permanent prosperity.

What's the Use of Serving God? (4 of 5)

Instead of asking the question of "What's the Use of Serving God? ", we must embrace the following message so that we will experience why it pays to serve God-

Malachi 3:16-Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD listened to what they said.

In His presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared Him and always thought about the honor of His name.

17 "They will be my people," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies. "On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child.

18 Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not."

So, to answer the question of,"What's the Use of Serving God?", because it is the only way we will

recognize and experience the Glory, peace, joy, provision of and the blessed eternal assurance with our Great Heavenly Father.

Therefore, Serve the Lord!!! Serve the Lord!! Serve the Lord!

Thanks for the words of wisdom and faith. When we walk and live in submission we really feel better about life and more at peace, not trying to combat with others about something that does not even matter.
