"Jesus Takes It Personally"

A teacher affects eternity; he/or she can never tell where his or her influence stops.        Henry Adams

"Jesus Takes It Personally"  (1 of 5)

Many of us desire to be valued, loved and appreciated.

We desire that our lives will make a positive difference and brighten the lives of others.

Also, after we have made our eternal transition; many of us desire that the memory of our lives be joyful and celebrated.

planting sees

However, just as a farmer takes time to plant seeds so that he or she will reap a bountiful harvest, so must it be with our lives!

It is going to take our time, resources and effort for us to bless people's lives, to be valued and our memory to be celebrated.

That means we will have to sow the seeds of kindness in the lives of others.

Regularly, sharing smiles of cheer, encouraging words and most assuredly, respect for others.

"Jesus Takes It Personally"   (2 of 5)

In addition, sowing the seeds of care and concern by giving assistance to others, which include times of when it is convenient and when it takes much effort to do so!

The desire of our hearts must be as described by the following words of the song, IF I CAN HELP SOMEBODY (Androzzo)

people helping people

If I can help somebody, as I pass along, If I can cheer somebody, with a word or song,

If I can show somebody, how they're travelling wrong, Then my living shall not be in vain.

If I can do my duty, as a good man ought, If I can bring back beauty, to a world up wrought,

If I can spread love's message, as the Master taught, Then my living shall not be in vain.

This means that we can't be self-centered and ONLY concerned about ourselves.

"Jesus Takes It Personally"   (3 of 5)

It means that we must be willing to share our resources, which Daddy God provides for us, for He gives us enough resources for both others and ourselves.

Constantly, we are challenged to exercise our faith in God's Word.

This includes whether we will embrace opportunities to serve others and cheerfully do what we can to meet their needs.

Trust in God

When we trust God's Word, such actions please the Father.

Our kindnesses recycle blessings back into our lives.

When we sow into the lives of others, it assures the flow of blessings in our lives just when we need them.

In addition, because of what we do, Daddy-God extends favor into the lives of our loved ones.

Blessing others is like storing a supply of food in the pantry for when it is needed.

God is faithful to bless us when we bless the least of His children.

"Jesus Takes It Personally"  (4 of 5)

"Jesus Takes It Personally" as to how we treat others.

Matthew 27: 35 NLT- For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.

36-I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.

testifying to tell the truth

40"And the King will say, 'I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'

45"And he will answer, 'I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.'

If we would remember the fact that how we treat others, we are directly doing or not doing it as unto the Lord, it would govern our

actions even the more.

Proverbs 28:27-NLT-Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed.

"Jesus Takes It Personally"   (5 of 5)

Psalm 41:1- Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble.

Proverbs 19:17- NLT -If you help the poor, you are lending to the LORD--and He will repay you!

people working 3

All around us, there are many hurting people (spiritually, physically, emotionally, poverty-stricken, etc.).

We don't have to look far to see the multitude of needs around us.

This is why we must determine what our ability is to assist and to understand that we do have limitations.

However, let's demonstrate our faith in Daddy-God's Word that we believe it and trust Him.

No, we will not suffer lack by being a blessing to others.

Remember what we do to others; "Jesus Takes It Personally."

God bless!

Words from the Heart!

hearts 4 red ones on a string

Hey Dr. Lewis:

Thank you so much for the wonderful words of wisdom for this week!  What a blessing to be walking in the Presence of Almighty God every day, with the glow of the Holy Spirit of God all over your face for others to see!  And they are blessed because of it, or they want to know why you look that way and it is a good time to let them know who God is!  WOW  who would not want to serve a God like Him.  I love Him so much there are no words to explain it.  Keep up the good work for the Lord!  you are blessed!   Love you lot's! Evangelist L V

Thanks Dr. T. Beautiful new picture. Because of the Lord's presence when no one is around I know His eye is on me and He cares. So thankful He loves us. I want to please Him in all I do. Thanks for the newsletter. Much Love. S R

Dr. Lewis:

Thanks for the news letter. It blessed my soul.  You know it is funny how we forget what the Lord has done for us so quickly!  You would think we would never forget the things He does, but we really do.  Thanks be to the Lord God we remember before it is to late with His help. Thanks again.  Also love the music.   V L

Deuteronomy 4:37-New Living Translation
Because he loved your ancestors, he chose to bless their descendants, and he personally brought you out of Egypt with a great display of power.

I think it's my personality to overcome things, learn from them and become stronger, both personally and professionally. To be honest, I welcome those hardships.

Joshua 24:31-New Living Translation
The people of Israel served the LORD throughout the lifetime of Joshua and of the elders who outlived him--those who had personally experienced all that the LORD had done for Israel.

If you really believe in what you're doing, work hard, take nothing personally and if something blocks one route, find another. Never give up.

Don't Take Anything Personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.  Miguel Angel Ruiz

1 John 5:10 -International Standard Version
The person who believes in the Son of God believes this testimony personally. The person who does not believe God has made him a liar by not believing the testimony that he has given about his Son.

What we make testifies who we are. People can sense care and can sense carelessness. This relates to respect for each other and carelessness is personally offensive.
  Jonathan Ive

1 Peter 2:24-New Living Translation
He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.
