Because of the Lord's Presence!    (2 of 5)

We don't have to be jealous of others' successes and accomplishments, because we can have the confidence that He 

        will show us how to utilize our gifts and talents.   

Each of has a mandate and purpose to contribute to the good of mankind and "Because of the Lord's Presence" in our lives, we 

        can assuredly complete His specialized mandate for our lives. 

We know that Daddy-God sees us every moment of the day and takes note of our activities, whether good or bad. 

In faith, we call out to Him because we have the confidence that He hears us every second of the day. 

If we really believe and trust the Word of God, it will be reflected in how we live our lives.  

Just as we rejoice in the presence of family and friends, even the more so, we can rejoice in the presence of the Lord. 

Psalm 16:7-NLT-I will bless the LORD who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me.

Psalm 16:8- I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me. 

9- No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. 

11- You reveal the path of life to me; in Your presence is abundant joy; in Your right hand are eternal pleasures. 

          (NB)-You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in Your presence; You always give me sheer delight.) 

One might ask "Where is the Presence of the Lord?" 

Psalm 139-7-I can never escape from Your Spirit! I can never get away from Your presence! 

8-If I go up to heaven, You are there; if I go down to the grave,You are there. 

9-If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

10- even there Your hand will guide me, and Your strength will support me. 

11-I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night-

12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from You. To You the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you.

Christians, as everyone else, live in a world which is depressed, hopeless, and full of sorry and pain. 

Because of that reality and the Christian's mandate to be a light of hope to such a world of despair, the Christian must be empowered 

         to reflect the Lord's spirit of joy and peace. 

We are able to do so when we celebrate the fact that we live in the constant and unchanging presence of the Living God. 

Psalm 68:3-NLT- -But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God's presence. Let them be filled with joy. 

         (KJ-- yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. 

         JBT-... they shall dance.  

This is because we are told in the same verse in (ISV) they are overwhelmed with joy. 

         (ABIPET) -they will be strengthened before God and they will rejoice in His sweetness.  

Psalm 64:10 -The righteous will rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in Him; all the upright in heart will glory in Him! 

This is how Christians are consistently able to, in every situation, brightly shine the light of hope, peace and joy to the troubled world.  

When we realize that we are never out of God's presence, we understand that we can always rejoice (celebrate, be glad and cheerful).  

We can constantly look beyond every problem, challenge, trial and tribulation "Because of the Lord's Presence" in our lives!  

Let's bless our own hearts and ignite the hearts of others to yield to our God by living as we should: joyfully, trusting, not-worried, and peaceful in the presence of the Lord.
