Private or Public Lover????     (1 of 5)


 

We handle differently certain people, relationships, business deals, associations, supporters, etc. 

 

There are times when we want to inform the entire universe of who we know. 

 

Other cases, while privately we do validate reasons for people to believe that they are our valued associate, however publically, we 

 

          try to disassociate ourselves from them.

Unfortunately, because some people do not know their own self-worth and identity, they allow themselves to be treated any kind of

 

        way, which includes settling with being people's hidden associations. 

 

However, we should be concerned with how we are classified: as being considered only private associations or are proudly claimed publically! 

 

How they treat and respect us privately and publically and how they speak to and about us demonstrate what they really think of us.

Some people even have the nerves to love Jesus privately, while denying Him publically.  

We love benefiting from Jesus' blessings (provision, protection, presence and power), but don't want others to know that we have vowed to be in a relationship with Him. 

Thus, we don't publically attribute to the Lord the blessings we receive which others do notice.

We directly or indirectly attribute the blessings of our life; accomplishments, material gain, favor and grace, etc. to our own abilities to acquire them.  

While we should conduct ourselves in a spiritually, sophisticated and mature manner; we should definitely publically verbalize glory to 

     God for His presence in our lives, publically bless our food and publically acknowledge that our protection from hurt, harm and 
 
         danger is only because of Him. 

Also publically, indicating that it will definitely be by Daddy-God's grace and mercy that we will be able to do this or that.

No, we are not demonstrating a deep God-connection when we are spiritually overbearing, talking loud, playing loud Christian music, and

             rebuking the devil's activity in people's lives as though we hate them rather than the activity of the evil one. 

Even Jesus is concerned and won't "settle for a concealed, private, just-between-the individual-and-Him-relationship.

Luke 9:26-Jesus says If anyone is ashamed of Me and My message, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person. 

Matthew 10:33 -  But whoever disowns  or (deny) Me before others, I will disown (deny) them before my Father in Heaven.

We definitely don't want the Lord to disown us for it is ONLY through Jesus claiming ownership of us that we can ever associate with the Father.  

It is through our publically declared relationship with Jesus that others will know they should be in fellowship with Him. 

It is only through public association that the mighty witness of our great God will make the difference in the world.

It is through our public ownership that others will know of our love for God.  


 

When we try to have bi-Kingdom relationships with both God and the world, we cannot rightfully demonstrate our commitment and 

                         position with the Lord.  

 

 

Public anti-God beliefs, positions and religions have been birthed because of Christians not speaking Kingdom truths, not being willing                         to take a public stand for Christ and the public silence given through Christians not living out Kingdom principles.  

 

Our private and public love and yielding to the Lord definitely speaks volumes to the world. 


 

To be effective, it can't just only be privately confessed. 

 

As Christians, followers and lovers of Christ, we are living in times where we must be willing to be ridiculed, not liked, hated and 

          even be willing to lose our lives because of our love for Christ. 


 

This is definitely already happening in many places around the world.

Christians are literally losing their lives, social statuses, popularity, and certain privileges because they have declared themselves public lovers of Jesus Christ.  

 

The position, views, and declarations that we proclaim publically will be the measuring stick that others hold us accountable to fulfill, which is why sometimes we try to stay neutral.

Fellow kingdom family, let's boldly love our Jesus! 

 

Let's boldly declare our allegiance to Jesus!  

 

Let's continue daily to be built up in our faith in, love of, and commitment to Jesus Christ! 

 

Then whenever we must publically declare our love for Jesus, it will be a natural flow out of our hearts and not a forced one. 

 

Jesus was hung in public shame to declare publically His love for us. 

 

The least we can do is to live publically for Him to declare our public love for Him to let the world know whose side we are on.
