We have the tendency to straighten up and drive properly when the Police are behind us. 


 

Most students are on their best behavior when the teacher is in the classroom.  


 

This is definitely true at our work places when we know that our administrators are monitoring us!

Why is it that we are quick to scream we are grown and know what to do and definitely don't need to be monitored, when most of us must admit, if there is an opportunity to slack off, most times, we will do so! 


 

The fleshy, sinful nature, which came with the fall of humanity, tempts us to get by whenever, however and wherever we can. We have a false belief that as long as no one sees us that we are getting by. 


 

Unfortunately, this behavior is not foreign to those of us naming the name of Christ.  


 

However, we must remember that our Heavenly Father is always observing our thoughts and behaviors. 


 

Jer. 23:24-NLT-Can anyone hide from me in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?" says the LORD.

Prov. 5:21-For your ways are in full view of the LORD, and He examines all your paths. 


 

He never blinks nor sleeps.  


 

Prov. 15:3-GWT-The eyes of the LORD are everywhere. They watch evil people and good people. 


 

Heb. 4:13-Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

We NEVER pull anything over on Daddy-God or on others behind His back.  


 

Rom. 13:14- Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.  


 

This is why it is essential to live as though God is standing right there before us-because in fact He is there!  


 

He is in front, behind, on the side, above and in us. He has a front row seat observing our lifestyle. 


 

Because "He is Watching" us, we must be mindful of the thoughts we allow to settle in our minds for thoughts produce actions.

Daddy-God is definitely observing what we really think of one another, if we really love and honor each other.  

Because "He Is Watching", we must be careful in how we talk to one another, for no, we just cannot say everything, which comes to mind.

We must also be mindful in how we say it, for what we have to say might be valid and beneficial, but if others turn a deaf ear because of how we are saying it, it does not profit them or us. 

Col 4:6 GWT- Everything you say should be kind and well thought out so that you know how to answer everyone.  

Eph 4:29-Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Eph. 4:21-NLT-Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from Him,  

 

        22- throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 


 

        23-Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.   


 

     24- Put on your new nature, created to be like God--truly righteous and holy.

Col. 3:12- Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 


 

He has warned us that nothing is hidden from Him to motivate us to live holy and not hypocritically!  


 

Yes, we can glorify God and rightfully represent God's Kingdom if we are mindful that Daddy-God is closely observing our moment-by-moment actions.

Certainly, we will be pleasing to Daddy-God if we take advantage of all of the help He offers us. 


 

More than being alarmed that "He's Watching" us, should be our desire to please Him! 


 

To think, do and act as we should!

Yes, we can glorify Him in every area of our lives! 


 

Rom. 14:12-NLT-Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. 


 

Matt. 16:27... He will reward each person according to what they have done. 


 

2 Cor. 5:10-For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
