Launch Out! (1 of 5)
Whew is used to express ...being very hot or tired!
Because of various situations in our lives, at some time or another, each of us feels the distress of that word!
It is understandable that we become very hot and tired when attempting to accomplish a task that seems difficult or experience delayed results!
This can apply in every area of our lives.
We can actually progress to a state of hopelessness and even make decisions to quit trying.
However, we must remember our opportunities are not over until they are eternally over. This means when we transition to our eternal home (Heaven or Hell), depending on our relationship with the Lord Jesus.
When we allow God's Word to dictate our lives, many opportunities that appear to be "No Way", will come to a successful resolution.
A person's age is not a factor for Sarah and Abraham certainly had a son well beyond the childbearing stage.

Also, from time to time, we hear of very aged individuals going back to school to successfully acquire their high school or college degrees. We also hear of married couples who have suffered divorce; experienced renewal of love and maturity and remarry. We hear about seemingly impossible turnarounds in other people's lives and conclude that it could never happen in our own personal lives. 
However, the Lord desires to use a very familiar Biblical story to re-inspire our hearts and resurrect our dreams. Luke 5:1-Jesus was preaching... 2- for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets... 3-Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water. No matter who else has Jesus' attention, so does everyone else. Jesus never takes notice and doesn't step into our situations, needs and disappointments. We must learn to lend to Jesus what He asks from us, (our time, money, obedience, possessions, etc.) for He always returns to us exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think (Eph 3:20).

Luke 5:4-.. He said to Simon, "Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish."
5--"Master," Simon replied, "we worked hard all last night and didn't catch a thing. But if you say so, I'll let the nets down again."
Peter did not have to act solely in blind faith for Jesus actually told Peter what would happen if He would be obedient; that he would catch some fish, something Peter had not been able to do at his current location.
Because of that reason alone, Peter had nothing to lose and possibly everything to gain by being obedient!
The Lord knew Peter had really been working hard all night to catch some fish and Jesus also knew that Peter had not been successful.
Therefore, Jesus was trying to lead Peter into an arena that would be productive and fruitful and would not take nearly the length of time to accomplish the task he had set out to do. So, why not try it Jesus' way?

Launch Out! (4 of 5)
Luke 5:6-And this time their nets were so full of fish...!
This time; all it takes is obedience to Jesus and doing it once more than the unsuccessful tries we have already attempted.
No, it had not happened before, but this time it did.
We may think we know it all because we have been trained in a particular field.
But we must never be unwilling to learn more and especially from Jesus.
Luke 5:7--soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking.
8--When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, "Oh, Lord, please leave me-I'm too much of a sinner to be around you."
9 For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him.
If things are not changing in our lives, then that means we are NOT launching out in to the depth.

It wasn't until Peter launched out and cast his net into deeper waters that he caught the fish that he could not previously catch.
Aren't we tired of trying to figure it out on our own?
Aren't we tired of spending unnecessary time and still not accomplish our desired result?
Aren't we tired of being the laughing stock of others jokes about our unfruitfulness?
Then, no matter what we think, have done and experienced, "Launch Out" in faith at Jesus' command.
"Launch Out" and believe that we can find true love once again or for some for the first time, no matter what our previous experience has been.
"Launch Out" at Jesus' command and open that business or begin that ministry or retake that class!
Launch Out! Launch Out! Launch Out!
