Egypt Is Still Egypt!!! (1 of 5)
When difficult situations occur, it is only natural for us to desire relief!
Whether they are in our homes, health, on our jobs, in our finances or relationships, just to
name a few areas, we desire to eliminate stressful situations.
Our pain and agony provoke us to cry out.
An example of this is in Exodus 3:7-And the LORD said, "I have surely seen the affliction of my people,
which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows".
9-... I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
Daddy-God is mercy, loving and compassionate.

Egypt Is Still Egypt! (2 of 5)
In "due time", our Heavenly Father responds to us as He did for the Israelites in
v 8-And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
v 10- (Moses) Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
Daddy-God always at the appointed time responds to our cries and desires for direction, assistance and deliverance.
We learn that whenever Daddy-God relocates us,
He moves us to greater opportunities and greener pastures.
Even though we know this and have experienced this repeatedly, during difficult times, it slips our minds.
However, we must remember that "encountered obstacles" do not alter Daddy-God's promises to us.
We must just wait in faith knowing that as we pass through barren lands that He will bring us unto a good land, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

Egypt Is Still Egypt! (3 of 5)
In desperate times, the Israelites did as we do today.
No matter what the consequences would be, they considered the old, already proven not to work solution to rid themselves of their "temporary" problems.
Thus, we find in Numbers 20:2- There was no water for the people to drink at that place, so they rebelled against Moses and Aaron.
3- The people blamed Moses and said, "If only we had died in the Lord's presence with our brothers!
4-Why have you brought the congregation of the Lord's people into this wilderness to die, along with all our livestock?
5-Why did you make us leave Egypt and bring us here to this terrible place? This land has no grain, no figs, no grapes, no pomegranates, and no water to drink!"
However, they ignored the fact that Egypt was still cruel Egypt, from which they had hastily fled!
The results of our thoughts and actions apart from God's Word are still the same!

The cruelty of the world and disobeying God's will and plan for our lives still reaps unfruitful results.
So no, we cannot run back to where we cried to be delivered from or back to people we cried out for freedom from them!
No, we cannot go back and settle for situations or persons who were not good for us then, as they are still not good for us now!
No, we cannot entertain Satan's suggestion that life would be better if I ...
In fact, situations, which Daddy-God delivers us from, become worse when we return to them or do not guard ourselves from them returning to us.
Luke 11:24- "When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, searching for rest.
But when it finds none, it says, 'I will return to the person I came from.
25- So it returns and finds that its former home is all swept and in order.
26- Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before."

Daddy-God's love delivers us from our Egyptian experiences!
His faithfulness brings us through barren situations to position us in His promised fruitful situations.
Therefore, reject and rebuke the suggestion of Satan to desire to return to our various "Egyptian lands and ways", for "Egypt is Still Egypt"!
Hold on to your faith in God!
Know that Daddy-God hears, sees and will react in your favor in due time!
Do not abort your "Promised Land Adventure" for "temporary" relief!

Subject: Re: CHALLENGING DAYS!! Hey Dr. Lewis: Boy you really hit the nail on the head with this one! I was just sitting around the house on Friday and got a call from one of my doctors to get up and go to the emergency room! Well I almost did not even go.... but his voice was in a state of emergency, so I got up and went. When I got there I thought I was just going to see a doctor and go home. Well as it turned out my potassium was 7! That is enough to stop your heart! I was in the hospital for three days for them to get it down. I know the Lord God had His mighty hand on me and I thank Him so very much for His grace and love for me and all of my brothers and sisters in Christ! I am home now and come back to normal by the Grace of God. Thank you for this Word it is for me! L V

I retired from Los Angeles Air Force 27 years in Federal Service. However, I am attending Biola/Talbot University at this time acquiring a Master's degree in Theology. Pray I excel.
