Challenging Days!! (1 of 5)
The Shirelles, an American girl group in the early 1960s, had a hit song entitled "Momma Said".
Some of the lyrics are "Mama said there'll be days like this, there'll be days like this mama said.
I went walking the other day. Everything was going fine. I met a little boy named Billy Joe.
Then, I almost lost my mind. Hey, don't you worry Mama said, mama said". 
At the time we heard these lyrics, we did not realize the weight of their truth until we began maturing, growing up, and experiencing life.
Yes, in life, there will be various kinds of mentally and spiritually-challenging days.
There are some days which very easily and without effort "we are on top of the world".
Other days, when it takes all of the effort we can muster up to even consider being "on top of the world".
Issues of life happen each day; although some days are more challenging than other days to handle them and to abide in the peace, which God offers us!

Challenging Days!! (2 of 5)
While we don't meet a boy named Billy Joe, which almost make us lose our minds, we do encounter tough decisions we must make, temporary lack of funds to handle obligations and certain experiences that initially shake our faith. We also have children acting like "aliens"-foreigners to what they have been taught, challenges on the job, health challenges and other situations which temps us "to fear" rather than NOT to fear. Each of these situations, if we worry and allow them to do so, could almost make us lose our minds. There will be days when we are mentally and emotionally challenged with the issues of life. We wake up expecting our days experiences will be trouble-free, however, it is just the opposite. But Mama said "don't you worry". More so, we are told in Philippians 4:6-NLT-Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.

Challenging Days!! (3 of 5)
The peace, quietness of soul, and the spirit of faith, which Daddy-God
offers us is applicable in every situation we encounter. It is our decision to worry or to rest in the Lord no matter what befalls us.
No, we don't have to lose our minds! We must remember that nothi ng takes our God by surprise and He does not fret as we may initially do so.
Neither at that point does He run around trying to arrange solutions
for our problems, for He already has the solutions in place.
Thus, every day and in every situation, He is ready to offer us direction and the victory of peace.
Daddy being the all-knowing God, knew before the beginning of time, what we would encounter and He is willing to share the solution with us.
Just because some days are more challenging than others does not necessarily mean that we have sinned or that Daddy God is displeased with us.

Challenging Days!! (4 of 5)
Everyone, no matter who they are, what they possess or whom they know, will encounter faith-challenged, distressful and agonizing situations in life.
However, we are reminded in Ecclesiastes 3:1-(KJ)-To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
(NET Bible)-For everything there is an appointed time, and an appropriate time for every activity on earth.
"A set determined time, when everything shall come into being, how long it shall continue, and in what circumstances;
all things that have been, are, or shall be, were foreordained by God, and He has determined the times before appointed for their being, duration, and end" (Gill).

Challenging Days (5 OF 5)
Remember as we encounter life's issues that there is an appointed time, a set determined time for their intensity and duration.
Remember that our Heavenly Father gives us His invitation of rest each day, but we must choose to trust Him and be peaceful.
He will lead and guide us through each day, even the very challenging of days!
Each day, we must choose to believe and to be assured that He is with us.
So, when you encounter "Challenging Days" in your lives; remember that Daddy-God is with you and will not allow ANY situation to
be greater than what we can handle with His direction. God Bless!

The awards event was truly amazing. I along with my guests had a spectacular time. It was a great blessing and I thank you and your entire staff immensely for putting on such a phenomenal and awesome event. It was a sincere pleasure in meeting you also. I learned that it was not our first introduction. I originally met all of you at Clara's book signing on Crenshaw and Slauson behind the bank. I did not realize that it was the same organization.
