Where Are You Sitting? (1 of 5)
Sitting, defined as seated, positioned, encamped, resting and situated.
Each of us is familiar with this physical activity.
However, our subject questions our emotional and spiritual seating position; where we have allowed our minds and spirits to relax and to remain.
Are we sitting in the most advantageous position for our lives?
Are we comfortable?
Are we emotionally and spiritually sitting in the front or back row of God's desire for our lives?
Daddy-God through Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross has afforded us who have received Him as Lord and Savior, the testimony of
Psalm 40:2--NLT--He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.

Where Are You Sitting? (2 of 5)
Daddy-God responded to us who desired emotional and spiritual change in our lives.
He has lifted and elevated us to live and sit in an unbelievable and amazing emotional state here on earth.
This is totally opposite of the ugly, shameful, hell-filled and hell-bound life that once had us ensnared.
Eph. 2:6-And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus...
We are resurrected from sin and will be eventually resurrected to Heaven.
At that time, we will experience the ultimate fulfillment of Rev 21:4 KJ-And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Until that time, as sons and daughters of Daddy-God we have the right to sit in places of peace in the midst of storms.

Where Are You Sitting? (3 of 5)
Our Heavenly places on earth include sitting in the seat of contentment in the midst of lack, the seat of faith and assurance in the midst of hopeless situations and the seat of joy in the midst of pain. Yes, because of the faithfulness of our God, we can comfortably sit in seats of rest and happiness. Unfortunately, some persons CHOOSE to sit in the seat of pain, hopelessness, worry, stress, sadness and the like. However, we do not have to sit in those seats. 
At any time, we can have the following experience of Matt. 20:30- NLT- Two blind men were sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" 32- When Jesus heard them, He stopped and called, "What do you want me to do for you?" 33- Lord," they said, "we want to see!" 34-Jesus felt sorry for them and touched their eyes. Instantly they could see! Then they followed Him.

Deut. 30:19 KJ-I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
(That you might live comfortably, happily, quietly, safely, and constantly. (Gill))
Our seating is our individual choice.
If we choose to sit in Heavenly places, we can claim and experience Phil. 4:19-"My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
2 Cor. 5:17- "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
"Eph. 3:20-Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think...
Three versions of -Psalm 68:19- KJ- Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits...
NLT- Praise the Lord; praise God our Savior! For each day He carries us in His arms.
NIV- Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.

Where Are You Sitting? (5 of 5)
Choose to sit in your rightful seats as children of God.
Choose to sit in the seats of peace, joy, assurance, faith, satisfaction.
When we do, we assist Daddy-God with Eph.2:7- So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of His grace
and kindness toward us, as shown in all He has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.
Choose to know that this amazing earthly experience is just a preview of what is to come for the child of God who remains faithful to the end.
Look forward to your literal heavenly seating and enjoy your present-earthly seating in Jesus' mighty name. God bless you!

Hey Dr. Lewis, Thanks for the wonderful words of wisdom. I really do enjoy them. The Lord sure does take good care of His children real good. Sometimes we don't have to ask Him anything. It just happens as you said about the tree. He is a wonderful Father. He knows what we need and when we need it. I have had people bless me and or I am a blessing to them and when you share, others act as though they could care less. I hope I am making sense sometimes I don't think to clearly, but this is a great word. L V
