Small, But Oh, So Significant! (1 of 5)
The opinion of something's value depends on who is evaluating it.
What one person considers insignificant, to another person it is so very significant.
We cannot allow other people's opinion to affect negatively our evaluation of what is priceless, just because they do not see its value.
If so, we will miss the significance of some remarkable experiences.
The following is an experience I had with my Daddy-God; which for me was very awesome!
Having experienced married life, the covering and partnership of such a union, when a very simple, yet dreaded situation arose,
I was reminded just how much that union is missed when it is no longer experienced.
My neighbors are kind and approachable people.

However, I dreaded having to address the issue of their tree leaning on my property as much as I desired for it to be removed.
Having had someone who would deal with such situations, prompted me to share my feelings with my Heavenly Father, who of course, already knew my thoughts.
Yet, Daddy-God desires that we share with Him from our wills and mouths, the issues of our hearts.
A couple of days passed and the next time I noticed it, my neighbors had cut the tree down.
Daddy-God had been my covering and handled the situation for me by speaking to their hearts.
To some persons, this is a very small, insignificant, "coincidental" experience.

However, for me, it was HUGE, significant and one which Daddy- God intended to happen to me.
Through this experience, He wanted to remind me of His faithfulness, attentiveness, love and concern for me in every area of my life.
We learn of the involvement of God in our lives through the "seemingly insignificant occurrences" of our lives.
No, we do not have to wonder if Daddy-God sees what concerns us which other people are quick to overlook or dismiss.
No, we do not have to stress and worry over issues in our lives.
The old, but yet powerfully encouraging song comes to mind- "His Eye Is On the Sparrow and I know He Watches Me".
Daddy-God does reward our faithfulness to Him through His faithfulness to us.

Daddy-God makes it worth our while in choosing to place our trust in His hands.
Daddy-God validates our decision to move or wait according to His timing, when He knows we might "ATTEMPT" to resolve each of our desires and concerns.
We must make sure on our end that we really are Daddy-God's son or daughter, for on His end, His position as our Heavenly Father, is assured.
We must make sure that we love Him and acknowledge in word and deed that without Him we could do nothing.
If we do, He will be to us what we need Him to be.
One of our Daddy's names still is: I AM THAT I AM (KJ), "I AM WHO I AM" (NIV Exodus 3:14).
While I did not directly ask Daddy-God to handle it-He did so.

Psalm 37:4-King James Bible-Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
We must make sure that we are delighting ourselves in the Lord, which means that we should seek our happiness in God - in His being, His friendship and His love.
He shall give thee the desires of thine heart - literally, the "askings," or the "requests" of thy heart.
What we really "desire", will be granted to us!
(a) The fact that we seek our happiness in Him will regulate our desires, so that we will be "inclined" to ask only those things which it will be proper for Him to grant;
and (b) the fact that we do find our happiness in Him will be the reason why He will grant our desires. (Barnes)
Daddy-God sees, cares and will act on YOUR BEHALF!!!

Yes. I believe the key phrase is, if we remain faithful through our adversities, God will bless us. I know what you did on this message Dr. Lewis. Yes, I know that you took time out to prepare this for me. And even if you did not specifically tailor this message for me, I receive it in the name of Jesus. I believe I may have told you how in the month of June I went back and read the entire book of Job. I wanted to know exactly what he did through all his tough times. Yes, he complained because he did not know that God was not punishing him for anything he might have done, but it was only a test. We knew because we have the benefit of the Holy Bible to tell us what was happening in Job's life. And so after reading the book I once again affirmed my faith in God. Although I had assured Almighty God that I would never complain, and I did not since my condition. I have kept the faith. The only thing I did out of the ordinary was, I asked God to take my life, three or four weeks ago when I had this tooth ache that sent me to the hospital for 9 days. Dr. Lewis I do not know if you have ever experienced toothache to the 100th degree. Then I begged God take me home. He said no. The toothache was an extra test but it was not really in my plan of afflictions. What? But I maintained my faith and eventually everything simmered down and I give all the glory to God. Wow!! I don't know about you Dr. Lewis, but the journey with God fascinates me to no end. As Job said, ".....though He slay me, yet will I praise Him." We know that God loves us simplicity, so when we go through adversities, we do not think that we are out of the glory of God. He has assured us that He loves us unconditionally when He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die for us. What love could be more than that? None!!! I believe in my heart of hearts that I am going through my Job moment as well. And I am believing God for my double blessings to come and soon. Thank you Dr. Lewis as always for sharing your ministry with me. I pray that as you reach out with your love to me, that Almighty God will reach out to you too, and expand your territory and bless every area of your life in the name of Jesus!!! Rev. C K
