Hey Dr. Lewis:I tell you that is something to think about! You know we don't think most of the time, we are too busy feeling sorry for ourselves. God is so good to us till He is just good! We need to think about what life would be like if we did not have Him! I am so glad that He is my Lord and my God! I know I can't live without Him, He is my life! Dr. Lewis, Your weekly email about 2 weeks ago there was an article about " 5 reasons not to consider retirement" I read it and found it to be quite interesting. I am at the point (I am 62 years old ) of considering retirement more seriously. I believe I heard someone say "retirement" isn't scriptural. What are your thoughts on retirement for a born-again Christian?
Dr. Lewis' response: I am so tired of persons who are so deep that they lose reality with the human side of life. Of course, we can retire-when the time is right for us-- Now I have heard that reference when it comes to being an active warrior for the Kingdom of God and of continuing to walk in our God -given purpose until we die-- no from that---there is no retirement for living the Christian life. Sometimes, for one to really fulfill their God-given mission, God makes provision for one to retire from their earthly profession--It is your choice-- our bodies and minds do age and are not as strong as they once were-- so we must be wise in being mindful of our limitations and seasons. It is a blessing that you can even consider retiring~ Many, for financial reasons can't even begin to consider retirement.

Dear Dr. Lewis: Your pictures are stunning!! I love your makeup, outfit, and accessories. Go girl!! What an awesome message. I don't know what my life would be without Daddy-God. My faith is tested all the time, and sometimes I feel that I won't pass the test. Yet, Daddy-God always shows up at the right time. He surrounds me with angels at work, church, and wherever I travel. I can attest to God's unconditional love. Giving up isn't an option when God is in our lives. The strength, courage, wisdom, and tenacity He instills in us can't be challenged. He makes ways when things look dark and hopeless. I am honored to be one of His daughters. Thank you, Dr. Lewis, for another powerful message.
