Using Your...!!! (1 of 5)
Regardless of our age or level of accomplishment, each of us is impacted by the Power of Influence.
This is the potential to influence behavior, change the course of events and to influence people to do things they would not otherwise do.
Each time we impact what others think, decide and behave, we have impacted them with the Power of Influence.
1Kings 21:25-No one else so completely sold himself to what was evil in the LORD's sight as Ahab did under the influence of his wife Jezebel.
The lyrics of the old song "Somebody's Watching You" rings ever so true!
This is why we must wisely consider the privileged opportunity we have to positively influence people's lives.
We exercise the Power of Influence by our facial expressions or body language communicating approval or disapproval.

When we extend kindnesses, we are exercising our Power of Influence.
Through the kindness or meanness of our words and attitudes; we influence either kindness or meanness to others.
How husbands love, treat and provide for their wives or if they don't; the Power of Influence is being exercised because sons are
gleaning habits that will be practiced in their relationships.
How wives honor their husbands or not; they are exercising the Power of Influence because daughters are watching,
learning and being shaped into the women they will become.
Men.... Is your Power of Influence being used to teach young men that real men take responsibility for their actions;
that they should not boast about how many children they have fathered,
but rather boast that they are loving, caring and involved fathers to the children they have fathered?

Women.... Is your Power of Influence being used to teach young ladies not to be "needy" of a man's companionship or
approval to "complete them as women"?
But rather, that their focus should be to develop their abilities to become emotionally healthy women trusting in the Lord to help them, to become women that men need?
If we yell or curse, we are exercising unhealthy power and influence.
The Power of Influence is as the soil and nutrients in which we plant seeds that grow into large, plentiful, beautiful, rich harvests.
How we exercise our power will contribute or hinder people from becoming the next President, teacher, Pastor, Bishop, Scientist or doctor.

Each of us will have a memoir or story created by our lives; how we lived our lives, what we demonstrated through our lives, what people
knew of our lives and how we used our Power of Influence.
Ecclesiastes 11:9-...Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in.
But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.
Matthew 12:36-And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.
Therefore, on a regular basis, we must learn from God's Word- HOW TO EFFECTIVELY USE OUR POWER OF INFLUENCE!
WHAT POSITIVE CHANGES MUST BE MADE IN YOUR LIFE to become that positive role model of influence?
Changes to understand and appreciate the privilege and Power of Influence you have been given in the lives others?

Changes in your relationship with the Lord your Creator to come to Jesus, the One who offers us this power?
Changes and recommitment to your spouse and family to re-commit, reunite and renew your relationship?
Do you need to take anger management classes because you are not able to utilize your Power of Influence in a positive manner?
Changes you need to make in your spending habits?
Do you need to be more patient and understanding with your family and friends?
Jesus said "behold I give you power" (Luke 10:19) or offer you the Power.
Jesus offers us power over Satan to rise above what could hinder or prevent us from being effective influencers.
