What Is Your Response? (1 of 5)
Not so that He will know where you are in your level of commitment to Him for He already knows. But rather, so you and others will know. One's level of commitment to God, their interests and experiences perks the interest of others and therefore moves them to make inquiries. They reason if it has your interest, it may be worthwhile for them to "Check It Out".
Faith and obedience to the Lord and His "Will" will always birth greater success.
Greater blessings, growth, experiences and successful endeavors, dreams and goals!
During our walk with God, there will be times He will be silent in calling our names.
Then, when it is time for a shift change, promotion and graduation from one level to the next, He will specifically call our name.

What Is Your Response? (2 of 5)
Such was the case with Abraham in Genesis 22:1-... God tested Abraham's faith.
"Abraham!" God called. "Yes," he replied. "Here I am."
Beyond all doubt, God specifically called his name. Abraham could not deny God's calling of his name.
Abraham replied, "Here I Am" which is how God desires for each of us to respond.
That response communicates the trust, assurance and anticipation of good coming out of identifying one's self to God.
It is a fearless and mature response!
It is through our experiences that we learn that we can trustingly say "Here I Am".
We hide from persons who call our names if we don't trust them or feel that the encounter will be fruitful.
V2- "Take your son, your only son--yes, Isaac, whom you love so much... Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering ..."
We are reminded that Daddy-God desires that we:
1) Love Him above all else in our lives.
2) Be willing to trust Him with whatever we "LOVE SO MUCH".
3) Be willing to relinquish what we love into His hands.
Daddy-God doesn't want our "JUNK" or non-interests; but He desires the sacrifice of our best which we can offer to Him.

Thus, He challenged Abraham to separate from and to sacrifice that which he so loved- to offer Isaac as a burnt offering,
his only son as (Ishmael was now gone from him).
The Lord will be clear in what He is asking of our lives!
He will at times share portions of His plan in accordance to what we can handle and what is essential for us to know.
While other times, He desires that we just trust Him!
Not blindly trust Him; but trust Him based on what we know of His love, faithfulness, commitment and great intent for our lives!
For now, Abraham was to concern himself with being obedient to what Daddy-God had already specifically told him.
Daddy-God does not over whelm us for He knows what each of us is able to handle.
Throughout our Christian walk He desires that our actions be as were Abraham's actions in Verse 3-The next morning Abraham got up early. ...along with his son, Isaac.
Then he chopped wood for a fire for a burnt offering and set out for the place.

It is essential that we, as Abraham, rise up early for our trip of obedience before we reason and excuse ourselves from being obedient to the Lord.
Early before we have a change of heart to obey!
He did not allow inquiries or advice from others, or his own lack of answers or understanding to prevent him from obeying Daddy-God.
Because Abraham was willing to give up that which he SO LOVED; Daddy-God gave his son back to him-v.12"Don't lay a hand on the boy!"...
Also, the overflow blessings of v.16-"This is what the LORD says: Because you have obeyed me and have not withheld even your son, your only son,...
17- I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies.
18- And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed--all because you have obeyed me.

Every testing of our faith and obedience is to usher us into God's greater good for our lives.
Will you allow Daddy-God to use your life to bless yourself and others?
Will you trust God with "that" which you so love?
Will your response be "Here I Am" which will position you to receive Daddy-God's greater for your life?

Your recordings bring back such wonderful memories. Would you believe that last Wednesday I was looking at some pictures of Mo. Floyd that I took at one of her birthday parties (along with Mothers M. Franklin, Mary Logan, Iris Amantine).It's such a blessing when you have such memorable artifacts of our "family." Thank you for sharing. So this is what God's prophecy meant when He said that I would be going across the nations....by way of the internet!!!! (Love you! Keep on with your fabulous ministry.) B J
Hey Mama Lewis!! I know I'm not "parenting all over again" let alone have been a parent for the first time but I decided to check out the video anyway just because it was you. And I must say you look good!! So gorgeous and you sound great. I enjoyed this segment between you ladies and I want to thank you for what you've done in my life. I was your baby in Delaware I couldn't have asked for a better presence during the trip. I needed you there. Love you lots! S M
