Snatched! (1 of 5)
Daddy-God protects us, His beloved Sons and Daughters, in various ways.
Sometimes it is in the midst of the Red Sea which He parts and provides dry land for us to cross.
Other times, He will ACTUALLY allow us to be thrown into Fiery Furnaces and Lion's Dens as we travel this journey of life! But a blessed assurance from Him can be found in
Isaiah 43:2-NLT- When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
An additional example of what Daddy-God will do for us as Jesus did for the children is written in
Mark 10:16; And He took them up in His arms, put [His] hands upon them and blessed them.

The poem/prayer by Mary Stevenson of "Footsteps in the Sand" continues to bless and encourage us: "... I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord, 'You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?'
The Lord replied, 'The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you.'"

Many years ago, while I was at the park with my young children, a violent situation occurred with a group of people. In the midst of all that was going on, I saw a father snatch up his beloved son and begin running in the opposite direction to protect him.
The Lord brought this incident back to my memory to remind me of what He had recently done for me! I was confronted with a situation that alarmed me because it tempted and nearly resurrected my fleshly nature of negative behaviors. But, thanks be to Daddy-God who knows the hearts of those who desire to serve, love, honor Him and to rightfully represent Him before all men.

Therefore, because I did not have the strength on my own, He literally picked me up and snatched me out of the situation!
Jonah 2:6-NLT- But you, O LORD my God, snatched me from the jaws of death!
Thank you Lord, for He knew that I did not want to disgrace His name and definitely not destroy the platform of influence He has afforded me.
Then, He literally took me away and lovingly and tenderly nursed me back to strength; so that I am now able to stand up in Him.
We must remember Ephesians 6:12 NLT-
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
1 Peter 5:8-NLT- Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

But more so, remember Acts 17:28-KJ that we are God's offspring.
1 John 4:16- NLT-We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in His love.
Jeremiah 32:40- NLT- And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them.
Exodus 19:5- Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure...
Daddy-God did not give His only Beloved Son to suffer, be humiliated and to die for us to leave us now.
He will never leave us in the midst of the fire- but will be with us.
Your Heavenly Father does watch over YOU! He does care!
He is a trillion times committed to enabling us to live a victorious life for His glory!
Finally, Daddy-God reminds us in 2 Corinthians 1:4-NIV-who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
Remember, Jesus is with YOU!

Words from the Heart!
Hey Dr. Lewis:
thanks for the wonderful Words of wisdom for today! I want to live a transformed life in the Lord and be in that place called there! V L
My God Mom Lewis, this is one of the most powerful segments I have seen and is so very dear to my heart. I think I told you that I work in a soup kitchen. I am the cook there and God often gives me the opportunity to minister to someone there.
This segment has encouraged me to keep on going. I had the wonderful opportunity to buy a Bible for someone a couple of weeks ago. The guy is a pedifile and he asked me for a Bible and I promised to get him one. I work part time so I don't make much money at all, so after I bought his, I asked God to show me how to get some more.
I gave him his Bible on that Monday and that Wednesday, God sent a lady from the Gideons with a lot of Bibles, she gave out 30 that day!!!!!! Hallelujah!!!!! I told her she was an answer to my prayer. There are many homeless that come through there and I want to be a light used by God. Thank you again for this segment. I truly love you AMD your ministry.
