Deal With Your Heart-Chain (s)!
Volume 217 February 24, 2013
|
Greetings!,
Deal With Your Heart-Chain (s)! (1 of 5) The heart represents one's mind, will, understanding, reflections, seat of emotions and passions. It dictates how we feel and how we evaluate ourselves. The Heart is one's safety deposit box where joys, memories, misunderstandings, hatred, hurt, pain and commitments are stored. It is the back stage of one's life, for what happens in our public life, is the direct result of what is happening behind the scenes in our lives. It can either be one's launching pad into greatness or the anchor around one's neck. Please click here My heart your Home with Lyrics |

Deal With Your Heart-Chain (s)! (2 of 5)
Because of various experiences of life; we have been left with unhealed or scarred areas in our hearts.
Thus, the Heart is where heart chains are manufactured.
Each one of us wrestles with Heart-Chains that hold and prevent us from being our very best, free and at peace!
A Heart-Chain may be a wounded heart or a weary heart that is tired of waiting on the Lord to deliver; therefore,
one embraces his or her plan of how to solve the dilemma.
The Heart Chain of low-self-esteem- which stems from comparing oneself with others and never seeing your-self as
Daddy-God sees you! Chain of hatred-blaming others for the pain one is suffering.

Deal With Your Heart-Chain (s)! (3 of 5)
The Heart-Chain of loneliness or the Chain of being mean and angry- quick on the draw to tell people off due to feeling that unless you protect yourself, you won't be protected. The Heart Chain of jealousy and being unthankful, choosing to focus more on the quantity and quality of blessings of others which will always minimize the quality and quantity of your blessings. Because of the lack of a thankful heart- there is the Chain of distraction-of flirting with the mentality of the world- trying to have a dual involvement- which is impossible. Either we will serve God or the world. |
Deal With Your Heart-Chain (s)! (4 of 5)
Because victories in our lives begin in our hearts; the condition of our heart is very important.
This is why regularly we must ask of the Lord:
Psalms 26:2-NLT- Put me on trial, LORD, and cross-examine me. Test my motives and my heart.
We must confess that we want to be healed.
Through prayer, invoke His help to be delivered.
Be actively involved in a Bible Study Fellowship.
Regularly read and APPLY HIS WORD in your daily life.
Seek Christian counseling.

Philippians 4:7- NLT---Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.
His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Peace that comes from Christ is the deep sense of the presence of God.
It is the evidence of His friendship and the hope of His favor.
Scholar David comments that the peace of God speaks of a military action, as it is a peace that is on guard over our hearts and minds.
Desire and seek to be delivered from your Heart-Chain (s)!

SoCal Gas Warns Customers About Utility Payment Scam
Southern California Gas Co. is warning customers to be aware of a payment scam involving utility imposters demanding customers pay their energy bills with pre-paid cash cards or face immediate termination of utility service. The fraudulent activity has been reported in Los Angeles and at this time there are no indications that SoCalGas customers have been targeted.
Customers of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) have reported that individuals misrepresenting themselves as utility employees are calling and threatening to turn off electric and water service if payment is not made to them that day. Utility customers have been told that the payment must be made by purchasing a pre-pay cash card, and are directed to another phone number where information is then obtained from the card and the cash value is removed from the card.
"Although there are no reports of SoCalGas customers being a victim of this fraudulent activity, we want to alert our customers in an effort to prevent them from becoming potential victims," said Michael Schneider, vice president of customer operations at SoCalGas. "We advise customers to be alert and not to provide any type of financial information if they receive a call from a suspicious company."
SoCalGas customers have multiple payment options: online, pre-enrolled direct debit, by mail, or in person at an authorized payment location. For customers behind in their payment, the utility provides past due notification in writing before service is shut-off for non-payment. When customers call SoCalGas for billing inquiries, employees will always be able to provide account information and the exact past due balance. Additionally, all SoCalGas employees on company business are required to carry a photo ID badge.
If customers receive a phone call that makes them feel uncomfortable, they should hang up and call SoCalGas at 1-800-427-2200 or 1-800-342-4545 in Spanish, or the local authorities to file a report.

Words from the Heart!

Hey Dr. Lewis:
Thanks for the wonderful words of wisdom for today! I chose to be a friend of God! always! Also thanks for the good laugh for the week! Love you LV
Subject: Don't Allow Yourself To Be Devoured! Thank you again, Dr. Lewis.
You (and the Holy Spirit) did it again! This is just what I needed and I knew my Tough Love Sisters would benefit from it too. You will see my testimony at the end. This is what I've been going through. God is still good! Hallelujah!!! Thank you for your love and support!
Every Christian will experience emotional, mental and spiritually-challenging days! Just as written in Acts 10:34--God is no respecter of persons: but it is also true of Satan. No matter what positions are held, how long one has been a faith filled believer, how much one prays, dances or shouts; no one is excluded. Therefore, we are told in 1 Peter 5:8- Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (overwhelm, demolish, destroy). Our brothers and sisters in Jesus have fought, and are fighting, the same battles. Continue to resist and overcome Satan, it is vitally important that we keep our faith at maximum level by flooding our minds with the Word of God through preaching, teaching, studying, and music and through the uplifting fellowship of other believers.
I stand before you as the example this day. My Granddaughter was with a group who were involved in an illegal activity and she was arrested. SHOCK! HORROR! I was so stripped to the core all I had was Jesus. I prayed and said it is done in Jesus name, but then I'd waiver.
The sorrow and lack of hope that comes with doubt was unbearable. I realized that I must put my trust in Him and leave it there. So I declare this day that I am walking in victory. I am keeping my mind staid on Jesus. I am not looking back. I encourage you to do the same. Whatever it is you are going through, God is bigger! Be strong in Him my Sisters. He is the way, the truth and the life! P S
