The Assurance for
This New Year
Volume 211 January 13, 2013
|
Greetings!,
The Assurance for This New Year (1 of 5) The Good Lord has seen fit to allow us to live on into a new year! His desire is for us to reflect on His faithfulness in the past so that it will foster peace for the present.
Daddy's desire is that we increasingly submit this year to His grand will for our lives. It is His desire to reveal Himself even more to us so that no matter what we experience, we will yet have the joy of the Lord. Please click here for: The Joy of the Lord Twila Paris |

The Assurance for This New Year (2 of 5)
Oh, if we could only understand Daddy-God's great love for us, it would bring an amazing peace and assurance to our lives and
force us to believe in Daddy God's commitment to us.
If we could only feel what Jesus felt as He gave His life for us, we would be more inclined to embrace His faithfulness to our lives.
When we consider the many difficulties we have already experienced that we did not think we would make it through in spite of adversity,
we should make the unmovable, assured and beyond all doubt declaration of faith that for this year we can yet trust and
depend on Daddy-God to care for us.

The Assurance for This New Year (3 of 5)
With the nearing of the end of time, the days of this year will be more intense than the days of the previous years.
There will be days we will laugh, cry, experience joys and sorrow, have faith so great we will be able to walk on water and
raise the dead and other days when we will need faith enough
to roll out of bed and be willing to face another day.
We will have loved ones who will pass, making their eternal transition to Heaven or Hell.
There will be days when we will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are loved and other days when we will wonder if we are loved! |
The Assurance for This New Year (4 of 5)
There will be days when the solutions to our needs will manifest and other days when we will wonder what we will do.
There will be days of wellness of body, mind and soul and other days when we will be severely challenged.
However, for each day we have been assured by our Great God's love that He has prepared us for the experiences of
"this day", no matter what they will be!
This is why it is with blessed assurance that we CAN CHOOSE to stand firm in faith believing and knowing that God is with us,
never, never, never, never to leave us alone.
|
The Assurance for This New Year (5 of 5)
Our greatest expression of faith and love to Him is to be the people described in
Psalms 1:3-And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water...
"A tree by a river has a continual source of water.
It will never wither away, because it is always getting what
it needs. If we are constantly needy, it may be worth
examining if we are planted by the rivers of water or not." (Guzik)
We must be determined not to allow anything to uproot us from having faith in Daddy-God and a commitment to
glorify Him in our lives.
So, let's determine that we shall godly, peacefully, gracefully, boldly, faithfully and victoriously embrace each day that
Daddy-God will purpose for us to live through.
Bless you and keep the faith!!

One Faith Fellowship-January 5, 2013
Speaker: Elder George Davis-Nuggets of Wisdom
- We need to feel the forgiveness of the Lord, by letting Him forgive us -- see Luke 23:34
- What does it mean to be saved? (See Romans 1) Salvation can be defined as becoming alive to the things of God.
- God has invested toomuch in us to come up with a loss - (See 1 Corinthians 6:20 and 1 Corinthians 7:23)
- God will not let evil reach its completion (or full maturity) - that would be too devastating to mankind.
- When God causes your name to be changed (see Genesis 17:5), it means your nature is being changed.
- Don't be in a rush to die to the things of this world. If you are in a rush, self-righteousness could occur. We need to let God crucify our flesh, and not move in our own strength.
- Believers -God said wait until you see the show for those who believe in Me.
- God put a ring on Israel's finger (a marriage contract between God and Israel. We (the church today) are engaged to God. The bridegroom is Jesus Christ. the wife has made herself ready - by sanctification and holiness.
"Overcomers" - have been tested through battles and fights beyond salvation. They get to go higher, and see all the other things of God.
- When was the last time we let God touch us? And when was the last time that we touched God? (See Matt 9:20-21). We can only touch God through prayer, faith, and fellowship. Let us all ask Him for what He wants, rather than for what we want.
- Satan knows that he cannot do anything against God, so Satan is after us. (See John 10:10).
- We need to shout to God with our life (how we live before God), and not our voice (See Psalm 81:12).
- Why does Satan hate us believers? - (see Genesis 1:26-27) Satan does not want us to know that we are created in God's image.

Words from the Heart!

Hey Dr. Tonya--Enjoyed reading "Stop Tripping" it was right on time. I was just having that conversation with someone and I was not happy with some of the things that have transpired in the last 6 months. But I said at the end of the conversation that I would choose to thank God for all things and to stop tripping. Then your email came and the article "Stop tripping was there. So I read it as I do your articles and it hit me right at the moment I was in and it was very much on time and it helped me to re - focus my thoughts and to channel them through the Holy Spirit. Once again Doctor you have cured another patient! Thank you as always.......you never know what your words can do for someone else. MW
Thank you Dr T. for all the words of inspiration! God bless you always. KP
Hey Dr. Lewis:-Thank you so much for the wonderful words of encouragement: They are so very true! I sure hope I am not tripping!!! God help me in that area! LV
Good afternoon Dr Tonya, I enjoyed reading the information in the subject listed- Stop Tripping. There is a lot of good information in there. God bless you, See you soon. MS

Subject: Daddy Will Handle "THEM"!
Good morning, Dr. Tonya, and Happy New Year! Thank you for thinking of me and sending out this newsletter. This one in particular really hit home. I love this message about allowing "Daddy to handle them." I've been going through a lot and just keeping a smile on my face is hard, but I manage each day. Opposition from family members when I try to witness to them because I care and non-support from staff to help things flow at work is beating me down. Not to mention finances as a single parent. PC
