"Don't Overly-Evaluate Yourself"
Volume 200 October 28, 2012

Greetings!
"Don't Overly-Evaluate Yourself" (1 of 5)
How many times do we embrace this "By My Own Mighty Power" attitude?
As Christians, yes, we have submitted our lives to Christ which ensures "the opportunity" to cultivate and continue
a healthy, genuine, vibrant, God-desired relationship with Christ.
However, this will only happen as we are conscious daily of our attitudes which will either propel us into a greater
submission to Christ or separate us from a rich and rewarding relationship with Him.

"Don't Overly-Evaluate Yourself" (2 of 5)
To obey Biblical-directed guidelines to ensure a genuine relationship with the Lord will take consistent effort and monitoring of our lives. Also, it will activate the need for a listening ear and heart regarding our ungodly attitudes because the Spirit of God is constantly speaking to us and to ensure we are pleasing in His site. This means we can't ignore when God's Spirit reminds us of Romans 12:3-...not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves.

"Don't Overly-Evaluate Yourself" (3 of 5)
We stand the chance of exhibiting this attitude in our daily lives as we evaluate how we have achieved various successes.
This is why we must CONSTANTLY stay prayed up, submissively-bowed, humble and God-attuned. If not, God has a way of getting our attention as noted in the life of King Nebuchadnezzar.
Daniel 4:4-I, was living in my palace in comfort and prosperity. V-30-...'Look at this great city of Babylon! By my own mighty power, I have built this beautiful city ...

"Don't Overly-Evaluate Yourself" (4 of 5)
Daniel 4:31-"While these words were still in his mouth, a voice called down from heaven, You are no longer ruler of this kingdom.
v.32-You will be driven from human society. You will live in the fields with the wild animals, and you will eat grass like a cow. ...until
you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone He chooses.'
33-"That same hour the judgment was fulfilled and Nebuchadnezzar was driven from human society
34-"After this time had passed, I, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the
Most High and honored the One who lives forever.

"Don't Overly-Evaluate Yourself" (5 of 5)
Daniel 4:36-"When my sanity returned to me, so did my honor and glory and kingdom. I was restored as head of my
kingdom, with even greater honor than before.
v.37-"Now I, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud."

Look up and be encouraged! This one short sentence can definitely define your message, Dr. Lewis. It was a good one. I received it in the name of Jesus. God bless you. Rev. C K
Hey Dr. Lewis:
Thanks for the wonderful Words of encouragement. They were really needed and appreciated. Feeling a little better but not moving to fast. Getting there though in Jesus name! This is a real good Word helps us to remember to look up and keep our eyes on Jesus. Love you lot's! Evangelist L V
