Greetings!
WHERE IS JESUS? (1 of 5)
We experience various situations in life when we desperately wonder "Where Is Jesus"?
We anxiously search for Him in various places or through people and acquaintances trying to find Him but to no avail.
He said He would never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), so the question remains "Where is Jesus?
Doesn't He know that we are hurting, have encountered problems in our home, on the job, in our relationships, need help in
making certain decisions, financial assistance, emotional or physical healing? (Psalm 121:2)

WHERE IS JESUS? (2 of 5)
We have been praying for certain changes and because they haven't happened, we begin to question if He heard our prayers.
If we remain in this disappointed and despondent state of wondering "Where Is Jesus", we won't exercise faith nor experience His peace and joy.  Because our hearts and heads will begin to look downward, we begin to host PITY PARTIES for ourselves which certainly robs us of the
assurance and quality of life which the Lord God desires that we experience.

WHERE IS JESUS? (3 of 5)
But this question can be answered by noting Acts 7:55- But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into Heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God.  Stephen was very verbal in stating his allegiance to the Lord God even if it endangered his life. Being found in a difficult situation, Stephen knew where to look to find Jesus-UPWARD AND NOT DOWNWARD!!!! It is our role to look upward and God's role to look downward. |
WHERE IS JESUS? (4 of 5)
Stephen fixed his eyes on the risen Jesus as death approached which is what we should do in the midst of our difficulties.
His faith and the assurance of Jesus' love for him inspired him to keep looking UP to Jesus no matter what he was experiencing.
By lifting up our eyes and attention and looking to the hills from whence cometh our help, we will SEE JESUS!
We will see the intensity of His attention and reaction for us when we are in trouble for YES, He is MINDFUL of what we are experiencing
and He is CONCERNED!
Yes, He does rise to the occasion to help us in our circumstances.

We will also see the Glory of God meaning some extraordinary light and brightness representing Him being up close and
personal in both Stephen's and our situation.
So remember, Jesus won't be found when we look down in hopelessness for He is not defeated in any situation.
Therefore, through your faith, His Word, in growing in your personal relationship with Him and through walking and talking daily with Him;
keep looking UP to Jesus. He loves you and is even closer to you than the very air you breathe!
LOOK UP AND BE ENCOURAGED!
