Health unit coordinators work in hospitals, nursing homes, or other health facilities performing tasks that support patients, physicians, nursing staff, and other departments. Most positions require a mix of traditional clerical skills with knowledge of medical office operation, and you need to be well-organized and able to communicate clearly. Our training is a practical but intensive course of study utilizing both online and classroom instruction.
