The Free State Foundation Names Donald Boudreaux to Its Board of Academic Advisors
Professor Boudreaux Brings Additional Economic Expertise to Board
ROCKVILLE, MD - Randolph May, President of the Free State Foundation, announced today the name of a new member of the distinguished Free State Foundation Board of Academic Advisors: Donald J. Boudreaux, Professor of Economics at George Mason University, and Martha and Nelson Getchell Chair at the Mercatus Center. From 2001-2009, Professor Boudreaux served as Chairman of the Department of Economics at George Mason University.
In announcing the appointment, May said: "I am very pleased that Donald Boudreaux has agreed to join FSF's distinguished Board of Academic Advisors. Professor Boudreaux's addition to the academic board, along with the addition of Robert Crandall and Enrique Armijo two weeks ago, further enhances the Free State Foundation's already strong legal, policy, and economics capabilities. I am grateful to have Professor Boudreaux join the prominent group of scholars that comprise the board. I value the contributions of these scholars to FSF's activities, and I appreciate having the benefit of their expertise."

Donald J. Boudreaux is Professor of Economics at George Mason University, and Martha and Nelson Getchell Chair at the Mercatus Center. From 2001 - 2009, Professor Boudreaux was the Chairman of the Department of Economics at George Mason University. Professor Boudreaux was President of the Foundation for Economic Education from 1997 - 2001. He has lectured in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe on a wide variety of topics, including the nature of law, antitrust law and economics, and international trade. He is the author of Globalization and the forthcoming The Essential Hayek. He is published in numerous prominent publications and scholarly journals. With Russ Roberts, he has a blog entitled Café Hayek.
