Parent Satisfaction Surveys
Please make sure to complete the Parent Satisfaction Survey that was sent home last week. The surveys provide us with valuable information on how to best meet families needs. Below is the blurb I sent to you last week. If you have any questions please contact me.

You should have received an email from your child's classroom teacher about Parent Satisfaction Surveys.  I want to thank you in advance for completing these and putting them in the mail (they came with a self-addressed envelope). If you have any questions please contact me. If you did not receive an email from your child's teacher you can click on this link to learn more about the surveys.

Class Pictures
We will be taking class pictures next week on Monday April 18th. Your child should have brought home information on how to purchase these pictures earlier this week. If you have any questions please contact your classroom teacher or me.

Mile High Scholars
I wanted to congratulate Quinn Morley and Maya Krosky for winning the Mile High Scholar Award for Steele Elementary School. Maya and Quinn received this award in a ceremony at Boettcher Hall, where they honored with a certificate, a key to their future, and some free passes for events around town. They also had their picture taken with Mayor Hancock and Superintendent Susanna Cordovoa. They were selected for displaying leadership skills, demonstrating respect for the entire school community and supporting their peers. Congratulations Quinn and Maya!

Thanks to all of you for all that you do-cheers Kevin

Wash Park Home Tour Update
The Home Tour will be Saturday, May 7 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Ticket Sales

Students received their Wash Park Home Tour ticket packets last week.  If your child did not bring home a packet or they sell all their tickets, the front office has extra tickets.  There are three class ticket sales competitions going on: between K and 1, 2 and 3, and 4/5.  The winning class in each group will earn Bonnie Brae Ice Cream gift certificates for every student!  Please turn in ticket money ASAP rather than waiting until right before the Tour.  This helps us with accounting, staffing, tracking, etc.

Not only will you get the satisfaction of helping out our school, but you'll also be entered to win one of these fabulous prizes:
