Good luck to our Steele Destination Imagination Teams! This Saturday we will have two Steele teams participating in the state Destination Imagination Tournament. For those of you who don't know, Destination Imagination is a competition in creativity where students are given challenges that they must act out on the spot. (In some groups they have to build or create things). The two teams that reached the finals are Nashville or Bust and The Angel Biscuits 6.1. These two teams qualified for the state finals by finishing in the top 3 in the regional competition (1st and 2nd respectively). Nashville or Bust will be competing at 9:57 at the Auraria Campus. They are in the elementary level in the meme event. The Angel Biscuits 6.1 will be competing at 2:45 in the Tivoli Tower. They are also an Elementary Level team and are in the Close Encounter division. I want to wish both teams the best of luck...next stop Nationals! CMASWe have completed our first two days of CMAS testing and everything has gone super smoothly (knock on some wood please). We have had no computer issues and our students have worked incredibly hard. I am super proud of them! Parent Satisfaction SurveysYou should have received an email from your child's classroom teacher about Parent Satisfaction Surveys. I want to thank you in advance for completing these and putting them in the mail (they came with a self-addressed envelope). If you have any questions please contact me. If you did not receive an email from your child's teacher you can click on this link to learn more about the surveys. Thanks for all that you do. -cheers Kevin
