Hello Everyone!
Each morning this week start with this simple meditation: as you inhale say to yourself, "I am breathing in, I know that I am breathing in" and as you exhale say to yourself, "I am breathing out, I know that I am breathing out." Below is the video we watch this past Sunday.

Sunday School 
There is Sr. Sunday school this week. Meet in the basement at 9:00am. The topic for this week is gay marriage.
There is no Jr. High Sunday School this Sunday. Enjoy church!
What's Behind the Wall? SSP Fundraiser
Youth will be holding a fundraiser to raise money for SSP.
 In between services please stop by the display located in Founders Hall to purchase a brick ranging in price from $1.00 - $100.00. Each brick purchased will reveal a bit of what's behind the wall.
We've already raised $1,688.00! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped support us!
Parents, I need a coordinator for this week's fundraiser. Please email me if you are able to (wo)man the table.

There is no UMYF this week due to Memorial Day.

UMYF
Next Sunday, June 2nd Jr. High and Sr. High UMYF will meet in the Youth Room from 11:00am-1:00pm. Come join us for snacks, fellowship and BIBLE FAMILY FEUD!!!!!
Padres Game
 On Friday, June 21, everyone is invited to join us as the San Diego Padres take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. Tickets will be sold for $19.50 at the Children and Family Ministry table in Founders Hall in between services or you may email me to reserve your spot. Space is limited!
We will take the Coaster to Petco Park as a group. The Coaster will leave at 5:21pm.
End of the Year Celebration 
This year our end of the year party will take place on Sunday, June 9
th
at 5:00pm. We will meet at Buca di Beppo located in the Forum in Carlsbad.
Come celebrate an amazing year. Suggested price is $15.00.
V BS Volunteers
Any youth who are interested in volunteering for Vacation Bible School please email Chelsea. We need students to serve as Group Leaders for all our age groups.
VBS is June 24th-June 28th from 8:30am-12:00pm.

As is tradition, I want to share joys and concerns with you all.
If you, your friend who attends this church or your child have any accomplishments you wish to share with the community please let me kn ow. Likewise if you, your friend or child have any prayer concerns let me know so we can be praying and supporting them.
