THE LATEST IN P2P FUNDRAISING NEWS

IN THIS ISSUE:
Lessons from Save the Children

Greetings!

Save the Children is proving that you don't have to be a startup to build a peer-to-peer fundraising program that connects with younger donors.

The nearly 100-year-old charity is attracting teens and millennials through a popular P2P campaign called Life Force. The campaign moves video gamers to play a game to fundraise on its behalf and live stream their contests online.

"As a venerable organization, we're trying to continue to innovate and Life Force represents an innovative way to fundraise," says Ettore Rossetti, Save the Children's senior director of business strategy and innovation. "It enables Save the Children to be not only your grandmother's charity, but your grandchild's charity."

Rossetti's advice to fellow P2P fundraisers who are looking to reach new audiences? Jump right in and don't be afraid to fail.

Easier said than done, of course. But his organization shows that by taking chances, even a long established charity can learn new tricks.

This is your last chance to sign up to get powerful advice from Rossetti and other experts at the P2P Professional Forum's annual conference Feb. 24-25 in Orlando. A limited number of tickets are still available. Register today if you want one of the remaining seats.

We hope you'll join us!

Best,
