NOVEMBER WEBINAR
Insider Insights with Billy Starr
Founder of The Pan-Mass Challenge
Wednesday, November 12 at 1:30 pm ET
The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) bike-a-thon raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country - $39 million in 2013 and $414 million since 1980 for adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Jimmy Fund. The PMC uses a "100% model" - it donates 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar directly to the cause with corporate and other supporters underwriting program expenses.
Join us as the Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum interviews PMC founder Billy Starr, a pioneer in peer-to-peer fundraising, about his program's storied history and how he plans to keep this industry leader growing.

PEER-TO-PEER SPOTLIGHT
Click here to learn more about how Chad's youngest brother Drew, born with neurofibromatosis, helped inspire the Cupid's Undie Run, a one mile run that drives thousands to run a mile and raise money in their underwear in the middle of February. The craziness raised $2.8M last year through events in 30 cities worldwide.
Each month we go up close and personal with peer-to-peer fundraising professionals to learn what motivates them, how they got their start and some of the challenges they face every day.

Focus on: Measurement
When harnessed properly, data has tremendous potential to exponentially grow your program.
As you think about what is most critical to measure, consider the "one hand rule." In other words, live and die by as many metrics as you can count on one hand.
Ask yourself whether the metric directly impacts the bottom line.
For fundraisers, the most important measurement of success is net revenue. Any metric that makes your top five should directly impact your bottom line. In other words, if the metric goes up or down, net revenue changes with it. While it might be interesting to know if more of your runners are choosing the 5k or the 10k route, it is most likely irrelevant to your bottom line. Stay focused on what drives net revenue.
