Executive Director Retires
Effective May 1
Sherry McDonnell
Sherry McDonnell
Executive Director

Executive Director Sherry McDonnell will retire from her job at HCCM on Friday, May 1.  McDonnell announced her plans for retirement earlier this year but did not specify a date in order to give the board time to conduct a proper search.  The board has asked Kandy Chimento, Volunteer Coordinator, to step in as Interim Director to give the board additional time to conduct the search for a new director.  McDonnell stated that  "it's been such a pleasure and an honor to be part of the history of HCCM and to work with so many wonderful volunteers, partners and community leaders.  My prayers will be for the ministry to grow and continue to serve the needs of this community as it has for more than 30 years."

Chuck Walker, NDP Leander Coordinator and leader of The Jesus Country Show Band, shares a song of praise at last year's event.
National Volunteer Week
Thank You, Chick-fil-A Cedar Park!

We celebrated National Volunteer Week this month and treated our volunteers to delicious cupcakes beautifully decorated by H-E-B Plus! Leander.  Our good friends at Chick-fil-A Cedar Park donated gift cards to each of our more than 100 volunteers.  The gift cards are good for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich!  Thanks, Chick-fil-A for your generous support and for helping us thank our volunteers for their service.
