Texas Stars Sponsors Faith & Family Night

Benefiting Hill Country Community Ministries

Sunday March 15, 5:00 p.m.

Come out with your family, friends and church group to Faith & Family Night with the Texas Stars at Cedar Park Center on Sunday evening, March 15.  Save on Executive Level Seating and a portion of the ticket price will be donated to HCCM. There is no charge for parking with these tickets and the deadline has been extended.

H-E-B Million Dollar Charity Shoot Out

2014 Tournament Nets $22,000 for HCCM

 

H-E-B employees and Schaible Realty staff gathered recently at the H-E-B Leander store for presentation of the proceeds from the 2014 H-E-B Million Dollar Charity Shoot Out golf tournament. Holding the $22,000 check are (from the left) Gary Anderson, General Manager, H-E-B Plus! Leander; Sherry McDonnell, Executive Director, Hill Country Community Ministries; and Brad Schaible, Owner/Broker, Schaible Realty and tournament director.

 

Brad Schaible organized the tournament four years ago to benefit Hill Country Community Ministries, and H-E-B came on board as title sponsor.  To date, the four annual tournaments have generated a grand total of $73,700 to support HCCM in their mission to assist area families in need.  Read the news release.

Sherry McDonnell Announces Retirement Plans

Sherry McDonnell, executive director for HCCM, has announced plans to retire this year.  Jerrell Roque, president of HCCM Board of Directors, said, "No date has been set.  Sherry is graciously giving us time to conduct a proper search for a replacement and to ensure a smooth transition.  We will begin the process soon and during the process it will be business as usual.  Of course we are sorry to lose Sherry, but we understand her desire to retire and we support her decision."  Read the news release.
Hill Country Community Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, a coalition of churches assisted by area businesses, civic organizations, schools and caring individuals that provides food, clothing and other assistance for people in crisis and those living in proverty in southwest Williamson and northwest Travis counties.
