The Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts is proud to present its first Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, December 7 starting at 5:30 p.m. at The Center (1110 W. Debbie Lane, Mansfield, TX).
Please join us at the front of The Center for some holiday music and cheer as we celebrate the holiday season with the inaugural lighting of our tree. It's an event for the entire family!
The Dallas Symphony will perform an extravaganza of beloved holiday classics this Sunday, December 7 at the Center for the Performing Arts. Fifteen MISD Band students from across the district will serve as special guest performers with the orchestra.
This fantastic event benefits the Mansfield ISD Education Foundation. Tickets are $25 for reserved seating and $20 for groups of six. Get your tickets today!
Don't miss our third annual Toys for Tots Drive on Wednesday, December 10 at the MISD Center for Performing Arts from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The objective of the Mansfield ISD and Toys for Tots partnership is to help less fortunate children within the DFW area and MISD community experience the joy of the season and to play an active role in the lives of children and families
This year's event will feature lots of activities, games, entertainment, and food. Please make plans to join us and bring a new unwrapped toy to donate. Details here.

Ag Science Teacher Honored
Keven Smith, an agricultural science teacher at the Ben Barber Career Tech Academy was one of seven teachers in the state receive an Honorary American Future Farmers of America (FFA) Degree Award.
The degree is given by the National FFA Organization to teachers who have created high-quality agricultural education programs which inspire and motivate their students to strive for success. Read more.
The Mansfield ISD Education Foundation completed its 32nd round of grants on Thursday, December 4 by surprising unsuspecting teachers and staff.
Fifty-six grants (including mini grants awarded in October) were funded this semester totaling $98,667.07. See the list of winners and the photo gallery here.
