Welcome

Greetings!

We love Halloween in our house. Nothing to do with dressing up because neither of us "does" costumes. But we love to see our neighbors come trick or treating. Each year we set up chairs on the front lawn. We pull out the portable heater. Throw together a pot of chili. Fill a cooler with adult beverages and a bucket with candy for the kids. And, then hang on the lawn as the kids arrive. Since we live in a walkable neighborhood we have lots of ghost and goblins that scamper from house to house while the fathers hang back on the street with the family dogs, while the moms are busy passing out the candy at home. It's a blast to see how much the kids have grown, meet the new addition to the family or neighborhood. It's a wonderful celebration of community spirit. Happy Halloween!

The leaves are turning. The days are shortening. The weather is still warm. Make sure to make the most of these cherished fall New England days. Hike. Bike. Kayak. Enjoy!

Cheers,

The Atomic Bomb and Financial Planning

Did you know the Manhattan Project not only produced the atomic bomb but also paved the way toward modern financial planning? Well...sort of.

As a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner, I routinely get the question, "Do I have enough to retire?" It's a very easy question to answer when you know how much you are going to spend, what the stock market is going to do, what inflation rates will be, and precisely when you will die.
