Holiday Schedule
Obviously this is not my usual long winded newsletter; we're all too busy with the holidays. In looking at past stats it would seem that few of you open this email on a holiday weekend; so I'll be brief.
The only winter location at which we regularly appear which is closed this weekend is the Westover Market on Sunday; it will, of course, be open the following Sunday, and thereafter. As of January 3rd Bethesda Central's hours are 1o:00 - 1:30 and Dupont Circle's are 10:00 - 1:00, also, as of January 2nd Arlington Courthouse Market's hours become 9:00 - 12:00.
Please remember that we are experimenting with going year-round to the Maret School market, and will indeed be there this Saturday. I feel we need extra support to make it worthwhile; so please get the word out. I've put an ad on the Cleveland Park Listserv and if you care to, please leave favorable feedback.
Other than the above our winter schedule remains as usual, and can be accessed any time on our website's "Market Schedule" page.
As to what we'll have at market, it remains pretty much the same as the last few weeks; so please refer to last week's newsletter or to the archived ones on our website.

A couple of notes on what's at market this week:

The only thing we are really long on is Green Buttercrunch Lettuce, so you can expect to see a sale on it.

Arturo also says there is enough Arugula and plenty of Brussels Sprouts and Kaleidoscope Greens for the coming week.

There is a bit of the last, for a while, of our "roots on" Basil. We certainly plan on having it back for the Spring crop of tomatoes.

Speaking of tomatoes; We are still picking a few, even though we have totally emptied the old 4 bay to renovate it.  There is a whole other house bearing just a few tomatoes. We'll have a couple of boxes at each location, as well as a few cherry tomatoes.

Of course we'll have: Apples, fresh cider, carrots, onions, celery, sweet potatoes, Vivaldi potatoes, garlic, winter squash etc.

Thanks, Aubrey and the Elves at Twin Springs Fruit Farm
