Roberts began his career with Wells Fargo in Spokane, Washington in February 2009. While with Wells Fargo, Roberts has had the opportunity to work directly with both business and personal banking customers, enjoying the challenges of both clienteles.
As a native of Gaylord, Michigan, transitioning from Washington State back to his home state has been easy. Roberts credits this to the warm and inviting community he has encountered thus far. He has been serving the Upper Peninsula community since November of 2012. When asked what his primary focus in his new position is, Roberts explained, "My goal in this position is to develop and maintain a strong link between Wells Fargo Bank and the Delta County business population and community as a whole." Roberts is concentrating on establishing relationships with local businesses to enhance their economic stability. Prior to Wells Fargo, Roberts served in the Air Force as a Flying Crew Chief from 2002 until 2007, when he retired. Post military service, he attended Spokane Community College and obtained his certification in Welding & Fabrication. Roberts has visited the Rapid River area for many years to hunt and fish. He is looking forward to all that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Roberts and his wife, Corina, are expecting their first child in April. |

Dr. Melissa Vandermissen of Superior Chiropractic and Rehabilitation recently returned from Las Vegas where she received her Golf Injury Certificate. During the certification process Dr. Vandermissen had extensive training in Golf Injury Diagnosis and Treatment, Swing Analysis and Posture, Fitness and Conditioning for Flexibility, Strength and Power, and Barriers to Performance.
While she was there she had the opportunity to meet Lou Ferango of The Incredible Hulk fame, who attended as a speaker. Dr. Vandermissen's goal to complete the certification was because she sees a fair number of golfers who are injured. Their injuries can be difficult to treat and she wanted to be able to better understand and treat the injuries as well as help golfers prevent new injuries. Dr. Vandermissen can be reached at 906.233.9087, or you can visit her at her office which is located at 1323 Ludington Street, Escanaba, or at her website www.superiorchiro.net. You can also visit with Dr. Vandermissen at her Open House, on February 13th from 4-7pm. There will be refreshments and Door Prizes. The Public is welcome. |
