Subcontractors Spotlight

Ron Cash's hands-on experience with spiral staircases started 17 years ago. He's been in business for himself as Stair Pros Inc. for 10 years. The company also installs cable rails.
Cash, a native of Kansas City, Mo., employs two full-time and two part-time workers. Stair Pros showroom 806 Cedar Harbour Ct., Bradenton, Florida, is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Clients can also make appointments to review options and get a price quote. Much of its business is conducted over the Internet through its website www.stairprosinc.com.

Ready or Not, Tricks or Treats may be Headed Your Way
Keith Towles

It's already October and Halloween is approaching.   I can hear it now.... "Double, double toil and trouble." This is actually a quote from William Shakespeare's MacBeth. What does that have to do with anything? Well, nothing, but it makes me think about the troubles that may come when getting ready for the cooler temps headed our way. Now is a great time to prepare your home, as well as your yard, by checking your internal and external home systems.
A short list of items to check are irrigation,  gutters and downspouts, windows and doors, and HVAC systems.  Don't forget your landscape--this is the best time to prune, fertilize and reseed.
Hopefully, the only tricksters you see are the two-legged variety that appear at your front door.
Thanks for all your support...

Anatomy of a Million Dollar Home...

Functional AND Beautiful:
Spiral Staircases and Cable Rails

Spiral staircases have two major advantages over straight-line staircases in a Towles home. One is aesthetics. Spiral staircases are easy on the eyes. There is a flow to them that can give an air of romance to a room that a traditional staircase just cannot match.
The other is saving space. A typical spiral staircase is about 5 feet wide, providing compact access to upper floors. A 10-foot-high straight-line staircase would project out about 14 feet, eating up all kinds of space. Spiral staircases also are affordable.
Spiral stairs are not necessarily just for the inside of a Towles home and are not necessarily made only of wood. Welded aluminum spiral staircases can provide access to upper floors on the outside of a home. They are visually attractive while making it simple to go from pool to that deck off the second floor master bedroom. They also can serve as access to a widow's walks and as fire escapes.
Cable railings offer so much more than traditional picket railings. They can be straight or molded into shapes and can be formed to seem invisible from a distance, which means they don't block the view. They are sleek and attractive. Made of weather-tough stainless steel, they last forever and require no or minimum maintenance.

The pool area at our model home is surrounded by a stunning cable rail fence system.
