Zev sharing the Passover Afikoman with Abraham
This Monday evening (April 14th) is the Passover meal according to Jewish tradition. During the Passover service (Seder), three matzoth/matzo (unleavened bread) are placed in a covering that has three pockets. Inside the middle pocket is the Afikoman matzo, which is taken out, broken in half, and wrapped in a white cloth that is hidden until the end of the Passover meal. Whoever finds it receives a gift. What is really amazing is that most Jewish people don't know that Afikoman is a Greek, not Hebrew, word. The Afikoman represents Yeshua the Passover Lamb.

The Greek word Afikoman means "that which comes after a meal, or the dessert". It signifies that the full meal has been consumed and enjoyed. The Greek-speaking synagogues used this Greek word to speak of the last item used in the Passover to say that the meal is complete. In light of this, it symbolizes Yeshua's words "It is finished", or "It is complete" (John 19:30).

Orthodox Jew saved at the Western Wall!

Passover is a time when many Jews go to Jerusalem to seek God's blessings. Just a few days before Passover, we were led to share the Passover Lamb, Yeshua, at the Western Wall (Kotel) in Jerusalem.

Zev began sharing the book, The Rabbi Who Found Messiah, with many. This opened doors to share the meaning of the Afikoman and the Word of God. Many were shocked by Rabbi Kaduri's note that Yeshua is the Messiah.

Shem fascinated by Rabbi Kaduri's revelation
An Orthodox young man named Shem walked up to Zev and asked if the book is about Passover? Zev said: "It is about Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri who found the Messiah, and yes, it is about Passover because the Messiah is our Passover lamb." Shem was puzzled and his face turned red. Then he said he knew who Rabbi Kaduri was. He is learning many rabbis' teachings, including Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri's, but he never heard about that book. Zev explained the book was not written by Yitzhak Kaduri but showed Rabbi Kaduri has reveled the name of Messiah. Shem was fascinated to know about Rabbi Kaduri's note. Praise the Lord Yeshua! The Holy Spirit was working powerfully.

Shem asked: "Let me read the book." Zev and Shem read the story about Rabbi Kaduri and the note he left revealing the name of the Messiah right in the center of the Western Wall. After reading the note over and over, Shem's reaction was: "How can this be?" Zev explained how the media shut down the story.

Zev with Shem studying the Word for hours. Praise Yeshua!

Zev then opened the Word of God to Exodus 12: 21-23 -

21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, "Go and take for yourselves lambs according to your families, and slay the Passover lamb. 22 You shall take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood which is in the basin, and apply some of the blood that is in the basin to the lintel and the two doorposts; and none of you shall go outside the door of his house until morning. 23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.

Zev: "You see, it's the blood of the Passover lamb that freed the Israelite people. We don't have any more sacrifices today, but we still have the Passover Lamb. God sent the Messiah as our final Passover Lamb and has freed us, not just from Egypt, He has freed us forever. The Afikoman is a beautiful picture that shows us God's final plan for salvation and redemption of sins."

Zev sharing Afikoman with Shem. Yeshua is the Passover lamb who takes away the sins of the world.

Zev asked Shem what is the meaning of Afikoman. Shem said it means "dessert". The prominent and influential rabbis also teach that because we do not have sacrifices any more, the Afikoman also represents the Korban (sacrifice). Zev asked Shem: "So God requires blood sacrifice for atonement of sins?" Shem said: "Yes". "So what atones for our sins today?" asked Zev. Shem answered: "Prayer and good works". Zev asked: "So why do we still need this Passover Afikoman unless prayer and good deeds are not enough?" Shem: "I don't know." Zev: "The Afikoman is a beautiful picture that shows us God's final plan for salvation and redemption of sins."

Zev then studied the Word of God with Shem, including Isaiah 53, Micah 5, Psalm 2, and many other Bible messages. Zev also explained that Rabbi Kaduri found the Messiah Yeshua, the Passover Lamb, who loves you so much and He wants our heart. Good deeds are not enough. Shem heard the full Gospel of Yeshua the Messiah.

After many hours studying and praying, the Holy Spirit came upon Shem. He repented and he accepted Yeshua as his personal Savior right in the Kotel. Hallelujah!

Supernatural occurrence at the Western Wall. Shem praying and proclaiming Yeshua is his personal Savior. Another Jew (left) shocked by this proclamation. We give all the glory to the Lord of lords and King of kings Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah!

Shem told Zev: "I am so excited and feel different. This the best Passover gift." Zev: "It's not just for Passover, it's forever."

Shem is now a new believer in Yeshua. Hallelujah!

This was a supernatural event. There is no doubt we are in the End Times and Messiah Yeshua's return is near.

Zev continued to share the book, The Rabbi Who Found Messiah, with many, which opened many conversations to share the true Written Word of God. We give all the glory to our Lord and Savior, Yeshua the Passover Lamb.
