For quite a few years, Men's Heath Magazine has done a great job of pointing out some of the great contributors to our gluttonous American society.  Part of the problem is that much of this "food" isn't really food at all with so many preservatives and fillers.  They may look like one thing but are made up of something entirely different.  So when you look at the lack of nutrient value and incredibly high caloric count, you get the perfect storm of disease promoting, artery clogging and fat building eats.  Check out the whole article featuring MEN'S HEALTH The Worst Foods In America 2013 with a recap below. 

20. WORST FRANKENFOOD: Olive Garden Lasagna Fritta

 I'm not even sure what this is (or what it's supposed to be) but certain this appetizer doesn't look too appetizing.
