"You all inspired me. I loved it there and didn't want to leave.
All of you are now my heroes."
-Brian

You did it! You made it possible for Philly kids like Nazeer and Devon and Linwood and Brian to come back to LiveConnections Bridge Sessions. You made it possible for thousands to have a first experience with great musicians and interactive learning.

From Vermont to California, Texas to South Dakota, as far away as Hong Kong and of course across the Philadelphia region, you all have come together to tell kids they count! You are building bridges over budget cuts to create new opportunities. You are giving kids a chance to listen to new sounds, learn new concepts, express new ideas.

Like Brian says up there, you inspire us. You are our heroes.

And THERE'S STILL TIME to join in. (Donate here!) Your gift today brings these opportunities to even more kids!

We'll leave it to Chris, a 6th grader, to sum up what this means: "The best thing that happened that day was the awesomeness of the music."

THANKS for making awesome music!

ABOUT LIVECONNECTIONS:
LiveConnections inspires learning and builds community through collaborative music-making. Since our founding in 2008, LiveConnections has re-imagined the landscape of live music and music education through unique collaborations that join artists from different genres to highlight how music crosses cultures and creates bridges of understanding.

Our programs reach people who would not normally experience this kind of music -- such as youth from urban schools and people with disabilities -- as well as musically adventurous audiences. We offer three signature programs, all based out of our partner venue World Cafe Live.
  • Bridge Sessions are interactive, educational performances for urban youth and special needs populations that explore diverse musical styles and cultures and spark learning that's hands-on and alive.

  • ClassicAlive concerts expand how classical music is experienced through cross-genre collaborations, new and engaging repertoire and a relaxed atmosphere. Our 2014-2015 season features six concerts highlighting artists who write and perform their own original music.

  • LiveStudio offers live webcasting that connects underserved populations with concerts and educational programming using state-of-the-art video technology.
