Yarn & Equipment Sale August 14-18
Over the last three months the shop has been remodeled. There is plenty of room for classes and it will be much easier to display equipment, yarn, and all the other new goodies in the shop. Plan on a visit! Check the shop schedule and e-mail me if you want to come on a different date. |
New Felting Classes
Learn to wet felt or needle felt!
I am pleased to offer felting classes taught by Colleen Simon. Colleen raises CVM and Romney sheep and sells her natural colored and dyed fiber and yarn at the Davis Farmer's Market. She has been felting for several years and is now offering three felting classes here at the shop. Click on the links to the left to find out more about these classes.

Champion Jacob Ewe at BSG
Farm Club members and I drove to Eugene, Oregon last month to participate in Black Sheep Gathering, one of our favorite events. I am limited to entering lambs and yearling ewes because I don't have room in my truck to add a yearling ram. Nevertheless we were very successful. My ewe lamb placed first in her class and one ram lamb placed second. Yearling ewe, Fandango, placed first and then went on to win Champion Jacob ewe. Back home all lambs are ready to be weaned and go to new homes. Check back often for new photos of ram lambs and ewe lambs.

New Fiber & Yarn
There is new Jacob fiber and yarn in the shop. I do not have this listed on the website yet and it is selling so quickly some of it may not make it to the website. Come see for yourself!

The next event for me is the CA State Fair. I will have five pregnant ewes in the Livestock Nursery and will be there with show sheep and Farm Club July 25-28. Stop by to visit or come with your wheel to spin. Lambtown Festival will be October 5 & 6. We hope that the brand new website (lambtown.org) will be on-line at the end of the week.
