North Beach Performing Arts Center Steering Committee.- In the fall of 2012, the North Beach Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) steering committee developed and approved a business plan and legal incorporation documents for a non profit foundation for the NBPAC. The Foundation will be responsible for operating the theater.

Nominate Local Champions for Children

NOMINATE LOCAL CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN
Calvert Collaborative for Children and Youth, Inc, a non-profit, educational and advocacy United Way partner agency, seeks nominations of local "Champions for Children" to be recognized at a dinner on May 1, 2014. The awards recognize exemplary child advocates in Calvert County, in the areas of Educational Opportunities, Healthy Children, and Strong Families, andalso recognize aYouth (person 21 years or younger).
