A Warm Welcome for incoming BBG President, Diane Burr!
We were all shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of our dear friend and leader, Pat Carpenter. As Pat would say, however...the show must go on...and we must honor Pat by picking up where she left off and carrying on as best as we can in the shadow of her loss.
If there is anyone who can carry on and honor Pat's legacy by being a great leader, it's Diane Burr, the founder, owner and executive editor of the Chesapeake Current and Chesapeake Bay Tripper. Diane was voted in as president of the Bay Business Group at the March meeting and we welcome her with open arms and feel confident in looking to her for leadership as 2012 unfolds.
Congratulations and Welcome, Diane!
