Still time to register for 
all summer session classes
 
Check out the more than 400 classes are being offered this summer at Grossmont and Cuyamaca colleges.  Summer session classes begin June 13 and are four, six or eight weeks long, along with online classes. Additional classes are available during a six-week session beginning June 27 and a 4-week session starting July 11. 

At just $46 a unit for California residents, the average class only costs $138. Many students qualify for fee waivers, and financial aid is available.

 Commencement time at Cuyamaca and Grossmont colleges
 
 It's the most joyful time of year at Cuyamaca and Grossmont colleges, where more than 4,200 degrees and certificates will be handed out to new  graduates at both East County colleges.

The Cuyamaca College commencement will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 in the Arts Center Quad in front of Building B at the Rancho San Diego campus. The keynote speaker will be English instructor Tim Pagaard, along with student speaker Rebekah Shtayfman and a valedictorian address by Mayssa Madhat Najih Ibrahim.

Grossmont College's commencement will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2 at the college's Main Quad. The keynote address will be given by City of El Cajon Public Information Officer Monica Zech, who will also receive an honorary degree. Sandy Adwer is the student speaker. Read more.
 
GradFest
  2016 Grossmont and Cuyamaca graduates celebrating GradFest

 

If you are a 2016 graduate of Grossmont or Cuyamaca College, you're invited to join your fellow graduates in celebrating

your achievements at GradFest aboard the Hornblower cruise boat on Saturday, June 25.  

 

Explore the three-story yacht and enjoy the sunshine, dance to music, take photos in a fun photo booth, and more!

A free lunch is provided with unlimited sodas, coffee and tea. A cash bar is available to those over 21 years old.

Tickets are free for 2016 Grossmont and Cuyamaca College grads. Go to the  Gradfest website to redeem your ticket. You can purchase one additional ticket for a guest for $20. 

Check-in on June 25 starts at 11:30 a.m., and we'll be boarding the boat at 12:15 p.m. for the cruise from 1-3 p.m.

Trolley passes to get to and from GradFest are available from MTS for just $5.50.
