Cindy Miles
 Dear
 ,

For some of our students, a financial emergency can force them to drop out of college so they can pay their bills. Our "Give the Dream" grants help those students take care of their financial crisis so they can continue their education.

On May 10, we'll be unveiling a new music video at Grossmont College to promote our "Give the Dream" campaign. We want it to go viral, so please post a link on your social media pages!

Lots of fun activities will be offered on the Grossmont College campus in addition to premiere of the music video. Bring your family, and I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Cindy L. Miles, Ph. D.

"Give the Dream"
May 10 at Grossmont College
A new music video will be premiered Saturday, May 10 at Grossmont College during a "Give the Dream" celebration with food and fun for the whole family.

The free event hosted by the Foundation for Grossmont & Cuyamaca Colleges is being held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will include rock climbing, dunk tanks, face-painting and food trucks.

The festivities will also feature the premiere of a 4-minute music video filmed on the Grossmont and Cuyamaca campuses and which includes footage of students, faculty and community members.

The video was created to raise money for "Give the Dream," a program that provides emergency grants of up to $500 for students who face financial emergencies that could prevent them from continuing in college. Go to www.givethedream.net for more information.
