PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Hamilton is a multifaceted organization, partnering with a variety of local organizations to greater impact the community they serve. At their two facilities, East Avenue and Grant Blvd., the Boys and Girls Clubs offer an assortment of after-school programs during their 3-7:30 pm hours of operation. These range from more academic focused programs such as homework help and accelerated readers, to the small group classes and boy and girls Scout troops. Having great success, 96% of the children who utilize the academic programs at the Boys and Girls Club are promoted to the next grade level. The club partners with many local organizations: Booker T. Washington for a reading program, and local high schools, universities and businesses for community engagement.
