Forum on Families & Children

August is "Breastfeeding Awareness Month". The Partnership to Reduce Infant Mortality (PRIM) Breastfeeding Project is working hard on increasing breastfeeding rates. We formed an additional group to promote and support black mothers during pregnancy and breastfeeding.  Black Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year from August 25th - August 31st. We will celebrate in Butler County with our first black families support groups scheduled in Hamilton and Middletown.
Please see attached flyer for dates and locations and share it widely. It is important we help our families successfully breastfeed. As we all know, breastfeeding is an intervention for decreasing infant mortality!
